This game is really, REALLY begging for an upgrade button. Many of the things you unlock are simply better versions of things you already have. Instead of needing to buy the new module and selling your old module, (which gets more and more tedious as the game progresses) why can't their be a button to upgrade the old module you already have?

I recommend you don't buy standard cannons. The lasers are amazing for range and increase in damage later in the game. The missiles have outstanding damage and do best near the middle of the ship. Shields spaced out in front with either alien cannons or custom cannons provide good wave-clear.

Building your own space ships full of weapons and gadgets, and destroying the ecosystems of far away planets ; what could wrong ?
As it turns out, pretty much everything : little to no control on your ship's movements, no aiming or even targeting priorities (several guns shooting the same weak enemy and letting the big guy behind clear), a ridiculous wave system (let me explore goddammit), a total lack of imagination in the levels (bosses and enemies are just slight variations of each other, the layout is always linear), limiting upgrade system, weak and useless weapon crafting, no weapon balancing, and bugs (the upgrade you choose isn't always the one you receive, same for crystals).
All in all, promising setting but horribly executed.

@Lisyonok there are two buttons on the "choose upgrade" screen. You chose your upgrade by clicking corresponding button, not by selecting the upgrade you want.

Two random tech upgrades is a terrible system. better to have a free choice of any tech to upgrade. would also be nice to know tech limits

Very inbalanced game. It was too easy until danger lvl 50 and then I hit the wall. Tech upgrade is too fast, I have many lvl 8-10 lasers and cannot upgrade them because I had to upgrade laser all the way to lvl 20 and cannot buy one unless I can afford lvl 20 or 19. Why cannot I simply buy a lower level laser? Levels definetly should give more money if I am to buy latest level weapon. Home made guns looks like a joke for this danger level, they should be more powerful. And why on earth should I get close to bosses so close that I can hug them, considering I have long range weapons? And why cannot I grab all the resources on screen after I kill the boss?

how to win:
first line(upper line) - Riffle Gun
second line - atom bombs
third line - lasers
4th line - lasers and shields if you have the money
5th line - cabin at left corner(so boss blades doesn't reach it) with fuel and 6 grabbers
crafted guns are crap so just make them and sell for money
Alien is better than Riffle so line up Alien on first line.
avoid upgrading and using missile guns- its crap
when a wave comes use one bomb and save up 6 bombs for the boss, it will die in seconds

Pro tip: eventually its better to ram the boss with rockets. dont place your ship cockpit in the last row, those tend to die fast.

I absolutely cannot keep up weapon upgrades because I don't earn enough money. My lasers are always 1-2 levels behind and the earnings on higher levels only go up in small margins simply because the levels are longer.

The support calls seem really OP. Without them, I had a hard time making it past the danger level 10 or 11 planets. I reset the game and got support calls as soon as they became available, and got multiple support calls that I can use once on each of the waves of fighters and three times on the boss, I've made it up to danger levels in the 30s so far without even upgrading any of my other stuff beyond level 3 or 4 (aside from shields and the alien weapon pickups).

anyone else has this problem that no matter what upgrade you pick, the game will always give you the one on the right?

I grabbed some blue crystals, then evacuated, and it did not appeared in my crystals reserve. It happened twice. Is that a bug or did I miss something ?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Twice now i got the shield upgrade (even after i picked it the first time, it would still offer me again), and it didn't appear for me again, and it would sitll be offered to be later. Devs? What da hell?

Great game, I like most of the features, fresh insight on vertical shooters. My only beef is that sometimes an upgrade will disappear. Like just now I got a shield upgrade, and it's nowhere to be found.

since the ship is too big and slow to dodge anything. Just crash the ship right to the BOSS!! its the key to winning. :D

How to easy pass levels? Just buy support calls (level 2) so if you have +15 you can spam them all the level and kill the boss really fast
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
You can beat every boss by ramming your ship past the claws, laser eyes, and swinging arms. When you push past those the only thing that can hit you in the ship spawners and the little guns, but a shield is easily enough to block those.

The bosses cannot be fought with tactics. Evading is not possible and trying different combinations of weaponry would require more grinding, than an idle game. The nukes do a damage of 1, whoot. Has this game passed any betatesting? I guess not.

So, how to rate this. Base 3/5 points. Can't zoom in so I have to either reduce my resolution or play in a tiny window. Minus one point. Instructions? "In the game" No they're not. At least not from what I could find. Minus another point. Down to 1/5 points. Repetitive gameplay with an insane amount of levels. Doesn't exactly help. I'd rather play an idle game.

Bosses are too strong compared to normal enemies, particularly because they require entirely different strategies. Basically the only good way I can see to beat bosses before their usually absurd physical means of wrecking you (chainsaws, grabbers, claws, all those things that pretty much smash your entire ship with very, very little you can do about it other than, idk, distribute shields throughout? Maybe? We don't have that much extra money and free slots to do w/e with) is abusing support calls.

honestly, the game is alright, but the upgrade system really sucks, constantly having to choose one or the other for no true reason.

A lot of balance issues when you reach higher danger levels. From the randomness of upgrade choices after each boss to being one hit killed by some bosses with no possible means of protecting yourself. Income is low, but would be fine if you could grind at a reasonable pace - but you can't. If you get stuck and have done all planets before that point, it'll be an extremely slow road buying yourself out of that situation. On that note, you can never really have a maxed out ship, a single component costs more than you make in a single run, and with the amount of items you continually need to replace, you're often left using over 50% of your items at under 50% of their max lvl. I'm on danger 30, and still have not had any use of any homemade weapon as they are vastly inferior to any decent lvl other weapon. A myriad of other smaller issues all add up to mediocre grind of a game.

How to improve that shity cabin ? It got one shooted by the chainsaw and the saw launcher. Even the protoshield can't block that kind of weapon ! And what about the grabber ? I spend most of yesterday to upgrade my ship and i'm not yet in the middle of the game ...
