Does not collect everything off the screen when you kill the boss. I just lost crystals and alien weapon and no way to replay level

Decent at first, but goes downhill. Engineers/big-crystals/home-made-weapons are utterly worthless. Painful grind to escape a bad-upgrades situation. Once you have high upgrade levels, the map becomes a boring endless grind. Tip: Buy ZERO rocket-weapon upgrades as long as possible. This will let you allocate above-average upgrade levels to everything else.

This could be a really fun game if 1) both upgrades were given after each level 2) the range for weapons was increased (since you have to get in bosses faces to beat them) 3) More strategy in boss fights since you can'tr really avoid anything 4) Better weapons...I use cannons as shields for my lasers, engineer upgrades are a joke.

So many times when it gives me a choice of what to upgrade or unlock, it doesn't listen at all to what I chose, and just gives me whatever the hell it wants.

There is a bug with the atomic bomb where it deals no damage and the range increases but that is only when you buy more
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Just an FYI if your ship dies as you finish the boss it boots you out of the level without choosing an upgrade or giving you your stuff but the level shows as clear and you can't go back in... Other than that the game has been pretty great so far.

I love this game.
But i have to say, the workshop/lab feature is completely worthless. You never have enough engineers to build something worth using, as you keep unlocking new and better things. It's impossible to build a weapon with the range of my lasers, or the damage of my missiles. so i don't really see a point in it

When I close and reopen my browser the game starts at the beginning again.
My progress is not saved.
I am logged into kongergate while playing.
Any ideas how to fix this please?

Tips: 1. For the early laser-eye boss, put a wall of shields in front. 2. For later chainsaw-arm or saw-shooter bosses, try putting your collectors in front (shielded) and thrusting through the boss before he can break them. 3. For mobs, small = 4 HP, med = 16 HP, large = 128 HP; this continues to the end of the game, so focus on reload to clear the swarms. Lv12 lasers are nice, buy a bunch while you can. 4. Don't worry about missing upgrades by winning+dying or by making bad choices, you will max everything anyway.

You've done something rather special here. This game SHOULD be boring. The levels are pretty much the same and the enemies vary only slightly. The bosses do get harder but are just a mash of a few different weapons. Gameplay is pretty much the exact same thing each level. The main player input is ship design. And yet, I had a lot of fun with it. Mowing down enemies was satisfying, as was getting new upgrades.

Halfway through.. Upgrades - Laser 20, Riffle Gun 20, Rockets 20. Only upgrade coming in is protoshield. Guiltily I admit, I've used a paperweight on my keyboard to finish levels sometimes. It's just feeling.... Repetitive.

After Danger Level 70, use L20 Rifle Guns; they have much higher HP than lasers. Rifle Gun range & fire rate increase as they level up. On later DLs, huge whelp swarms easily kill lasers. Missiles are too slow. * Support Call is the key! * Get it to lvl 3; buy 2 at first; then 2 more as you get rid of collectors & fuel tanks. You only need one upgraded fuel (33+ units) to get to the boss. * After DL 70, loot is useless (except Alien Guns); weapons are maxed & homemade guns are weak. * My strategy: Alien Guns in rows 1 & 2; Rifle Guns in rows 3 & 4; row 5 (left to right): cabin/collector/Support Call/Support Call/Alien Gun/Support Call/Support Call/fuel/collector. Yes, four Support Call 3s; click them as you ram the boss & they'll often kill it before it does much damage. Cabin on the left keeps it out of the reach of the swinging-arm boss. I went from DL 49 to 132 (end boss) with this setup. Replace Rifle Guns with Alien Guns as you go. Good luck! :)

The home made gun system needs to be revamped. As of writing this, the damage, range, and reload scale linearly with crystals. This means that for maximum DPS per engeneer you have to have the same number of red and orange crystals (putting range aside). It would be much better if each system were to have a compounding effect or some other method of creating variety. Right now a gun with 1 blue 12 red and 12 orange is lvl 25 but a lvl 17 laser pumps out more DPS and at 10x the range.

it shields a certain area and is reparing itself
protoshild has slightly bigger area and 20x times health: 25000 max health
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
What is the difference between shield and protoshield? By the way...shiekd is really just an item that has got health and dont shoot? Some of the cannons has got a lot of health too...what about shield radious? I didnt really experienced any effect...does it protect nearby blocks..?

Having the previous upgrade available for purchase after level 13+ is pointless and needless clutter. Having all previous upgrades available on a click might be good (for level 12 lazers), but having 2x the equipment in the shop for no reason is messy.

I do feel a little bit bad for the developer for whatever diseased scrotum they had to peer into for inspiration for this game. So veiny... Cannot unsee...

Weapon speeds keep changing! After spending a load of money on L19 Lasers for their 0.13 RoF, I load up today and they're all at 1.5. Can you please choose one and stick with it?

I only did suggested planets and the game seemed impossible at challenge 10. After I noticed that there were side planets and completed 15 of them I'm an unstoppable harbinger of death and there's absolutely no challenge. Kill little guys with lasers, fire off several nukes at boss, ram into his heart and let the the lasers outside the claw range finish him off, while I watch from the cockpit in the rear right of the ship.

I completed polyaerg-4 & Zearerod. I had to click back onto zeratlee to click onto the stage after polyaerg that was stuck under the screen border.

if you die right when you kill the boss you dont get your upgrade for the level, or anything you picked up, but it still counts as clearing the level

Got old, when I couldn't really find a way to beat the beam eyes boss. Focus on lasers cuz it was SOO easy to kill everything and the range made a huge difference. Now I'm stuck cuz I don't have tougher weapons to hug the boss with...

Has potential, but falls far short of the standard games made to this style. A modular ship is a great way to balance upgrades, but making that equate directly to the size of the ship--a highly regulated size--leads to all the maneuverability of a pregnant elephant with three broken legs. Laying out the ship is the sum total of all game difficulty, as ship acceleration is so insanely slow that it becomes more a matter of a pausable auto scrolling game. Again, the approach of the game has potential, but it is barely playable now and not at all enjoyable.

So far, every time I've picked an upgrade, it picks the opposite one... For instance, Shield level 1 or Rifle Gun level 2. I picked Shield, and I got gun.

It's a little frustrating that sometimes it'll just give me a win even though I died, but then I won't get an upgrade on that planet because of it. Not sure if it just sets me behind by one or actually permanently prevents me from getting some of them. I feel like their should be another nuke upgrade since there was another support upgrade, but I can't get it.

Nice game, but boring and easy at high lvls...
You can avoid the boss weapons.
Put your fuel, cabin and collectors to left side. Put some bombs to left side too. When you are close to the boss, use the bombs, it will destroy the wall, go left and forward, behind the boss. You have enough free space to avoid the dangerous weapons.

The end bosses with the multi bladed spinning arms, will destroy all of your cargo bays. Then when the magnet comes in at the end it is ether unable to or doesn't have enough time to pick up all the lost cargo. Making some levels a negative gain.

I'd also like to mention the last level is the 2nd to last planet, not the last one and it is EXACTLY like all the other bosses. Nothing interesting; no challenge; I took it out in 8 seconds.
Then I was shown a splash image of happy dinosaurs (i kid you not) and told I saved the galaxy. Then my game was reset without my permission.

Well, I beat the game. As I gaze upon the frosted remains of the last alien queen.. I can't help but wonder who is the real villain. The countless species I've annihilated rest heavy on my soul. Was it all worth it?

If you're not feeling like risking some front loaded nukes, you can also use the air support feature to point blank shoot the boss right in their nads, as long as you timed it correctly.

Here's a nifty way to defeat almost any boss: load up the front of your ship with three or four star-upgraded nukes. Go to ramming speed, get in close to the boss. BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM, they're dead. Youll take massive damage in that first couple seconds, but you can grind through the levels with ease and upgrade your gear.

Oh, and if your fuel runs out but you manage to snag a fuel boost, the stupid freaking mission director lady should get the hell off the screen.
