good game, hard at level 10 if you don't have support call, when support call at lv 2 with high level laser, too easy. having long range weapon is a must

Small bug: Clicked "Launch". Then quickly clicked a red box which appeared, out of reflex. Saw me get an alien gun, but launch was in progress, entered the map, quickly exited, but no alien gun in inventory and red box is gone.

@zabijaq: using lvl 4 and 5 lasers at danger zone 9 currently. No problems. 2 grabbers? Who would be so stupid as to waste their time doing multiple runs if they don't have to?
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Good game, really like it. But the coin magnet should be more powerful, and in the center of the screen.
Is there any way to defend yourself against those small grabbers that attach it self to a weapon and destroys it?

Hints: 1) Use the binoculars to find planets that have squares & astronauts first. You can always go back later to planets that don't. 2) A bomb near the front of your ship and two support calls at the back makes short work of most bosses. 3) Don't make your own turrets until you have 18+ astronauts, so what you make is at par with or better than the guns that you can buy. (I'm taking out level thirty planet bosses within 2-3 seconds.)

Ok, I am starting to reach a point where I don't make enough crystals to afford new units. But I can't NOT upgrade. So it's getting to a point where I can't do anything. And grinding, as usual, is impossible in this game because of the cost to income ratio. It's the only thing I've hated about this series.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Decent, but the boss fights end up getting ridiculous when they have a hack thing spawning halfway down the screen. Gets too repetitive later on either way.
Also, why do weapons at some point lose all the fire speed bonus? Pretty bad when they go to 1.5s and you can't even buy a low grade one anymore...

StyroCupMan: quadruppled bullsh!t. Lasers are slow with low damage. Any hoarde wave will destroy half of your ship.
You're not only lying but you also fail at that (because you're stupid).
Level 6 lasers AREN'T enough for danger zone 8, not friggid 17.
4 grabbers? Who would be that much stupid if you can easily collect everything with 2 grabbers in 2-3 runs?

Petesahooligan: It was just like this in Galaxy Siege 1/2. But much more balanced.
I have no clue why dev kills each sequel of this game with limited growth. But Galaxy Siege 3 is much worse than previous 2, "pick upgrade" can move you to point of no return (picked upgrades insufficient to pass level).
Galaxy siege 1/2 have limited material - superawful. If I remember correctly, in Galaxy Siege 1, you couldn't get more material. So if you bought wrong stuff and lose material by selling, you where screwed totally. In GS2, you have very few material from monsters. It was very repetitive but playable.
GS3 have too much material and nothing to spend it on.

when you run out of new upgrade unlocks after defeating bosses, you can fast click the diamonds button and get like a whole lot of them :)

Welcome on bord of the modular block ship, captain! The thrust of the engines is yours to command. In case of enemy contact, weapons will open fire automatically. Somewhat unlikely, since the range is measured in cm rather than km, due to their experimental nature (and some slight confusion with the metric system). Nevertheless, it is sufficient to fire several feet ahead of the ship, in most cases! In the rare event, that we end up in the face of some giant space alien, feel free to use one of our emergency onboard nuclear strikes.

I believe the best upgrade is laser. If laser is not available, choose shield. If neither of those are available, get fuel to level 4 (then you only need one), grabber to level 3, and get Support Call. Use Support Calls to beat bosses. Ignore all other upgrades, especially rocket. With a row of shields in front, one fuel, 4 Support Calls, 2-4 grabbers, and everything else lvl 6-9 lasers I'm breezing through the game - currently level 17.

What's up with the upgrades??
It says choose one and I go like ".. hmm.. number one, I think I'll take number one", and it goes "NOPE! You're getting number 2"
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Be careful about upgrade. You have to select the "check mark" to confirm the upgrade. To select an item is only to VIEW it.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I'm pretty sure there is a glitch when upgrading. Twice now I have picked the shield as an upgrade, and when I get back to my spacedock, I have a new fuel cell instead of a shield. Which makes it very hard to play, since I don't have a shiled and everything is getting harder and harder.

Upgrade Priority :- EARLY Game (1)LASER- Do not upgrade guns, if no option rockets..... MID Game (2) SHIELDS - you cannot progress without Shields.... (3) Support Call & Atomic bomb - With Shield(min lvl 6), laser (lvl 6) and these TWO SERVICES (Lvl 2) you can keep on progressing easily upto danger lvl 35 .. In Boss fight - Support call (5 Nos) and bomb (5 Nos) can finish off Boss within two seconds....No sweat....In between upgrade grabber and fuel to lvl 3 .....Do not Buy guns, Do not research in house gun until you catch 20 Astrounats. Hope this helps..

rewards per level dont increase but equipement costs do -> you cant buy things that your researched which is frustrating' atm my rocket costs 250+ mins and i earn ~80 minnerals per level this means i have to grind and grind and grind to buy even 1 rocket (not mentioning full set of them) after i will have the 250 mins ready i will probably research next tier which will cost 300 mins; the reward system needs to be fixed asap

Way too easy, half way through the map it appears there's not even any more upgrades so it's just boring and repetitive maps with no interesting upgrades to drive progression. There is also a glitch/bug/exploit at the end of maps, you can click the check mark quickly and it keeps giving you the bonus money.

game locks up on neobodr danger 41 sqr184:158
soon as the boss kills me in 1 hit,
maybe bring back cockpit upgrade like in the first 2
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
i found ignoring missiles and upgrading the other 2 weapons is best, put a layer or 2 of riffles in front, lasers in middle and grabers/cockpit at back. when you select a upgrade pay attn to the check mark as that chooses the upgrade, not the one highlighted
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Was there an update? I just logged back in and all my lasers are doing like 40 damage each. Don't know what happened. Kind of ruins the fun of the game.

hints: 1) against long chainsaw, put your grabbers on the 2nd.3rd last row, slots most left and right. cockpit either back left or right corner and put it as close to a wall as you can. The thing carves a nice circle through your ship and those slots are the most protected 2) against razor shooter, put cockpit in the last row middle slot. it shoots in an angle and won't hit the cockpit with the first few shots 3) to kill bosses fast go for 4-5 support units. lv3 supports nearly instill kill them.

@ xsploit and pax78: Select the item you want to upgrade, then click on the corresponding checkbox. There's two of them, clicking the left checkbox will always level the left item, etc.

Choose Upgrade dont work, its just random. And i want to place my additional tile where i want.
3 stars. fix that and i give 5.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
For some reason it will never let me select the lazer level 3 upgrade, it ALWAYS selects the other upgrade, very annoying
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
flying buzz saw thing way too overpowered. the fact that it travels through our whole ship and deals that much damage with its fire rate is ridiculous. it needs to be nerfed or destructible. if there is a way to stop it, it needs to be known some how. without knowing what upgrade is coming when its impossible to prepare for it . . if you even can. i usually like this series of games, but this one really disappoints me.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
BUG: the post-mission magnet doesn't actually collect everything on screen, but has a rather short reach. If your grabbers are destroyed during the boss-battle, you can miss permanent upgrades (launchpads, engineers) if they drift towards the top of the screen.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I can't beat either of the planets with danger level 10. I've tried several configurations and nothing seems to work. I guess I made bad choices with my upgrades, but there doesn't seem to be any way to fix that now. Considering there is basically no strategy once you've launched the attack, I really think there should be more flexibility to rework your builds. Too hard to overcome bad upgrade picks.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
The long chainsaw thing does a bit too much dmg later on. It one hits lv3 grabbers and there is not much you can do about it
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
also, see if you can skip a planet - some of the side ones are harder than the subsequent levels, so grow a bit, then come back to clean it up later.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
just go with lasers and shields as often as you can. maybe invest in a couple of rocket launchers. by the time they're all level 12 or so, they are as good as or better than most everything else. at level 20, they're two orders of magnitude better than any crafted weapons you can make.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
It feels like my upgrade tracks are too limited and irrevocable. I can't really "explore" the game as I'd like. Also, having only one level to play at a time—when they don't seem to require any different strategies—is a little bit tiresome. The graphics and production values are top-notch, however.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
the difficulty ramps up faster than the upgrades, those claw weapons on boss should be removed or allowed to be destroyed, with the bad target system its just not possible to enjoy game around difficulty 9-10
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
would be nice if guns targets closest mobs first, it kinda sucks to watch you guns atk distant enemies while the close ones destroy your ship
