biggest mistake you made is definitely having a seven second music loop playing again and again and again and again and again and again with no mute button.

Otherwise good game, although feels a bit slow-paced.

Interesting start, but definitely feels incomplete. The lack of any discernible mute/pause buttons is an issue, as well as the fact that you can't do anything other than a full jump. In addition, the collision detection is a little off in places...if you attempt to jump on an enemy, if you land on their back end, sometimes it does not register as you killing the enemy, but rather the other way around. The artwork is nice (if a bit simple), and the level design only starts to vary once you're halfway through the game.

Nice start, but there's still work to be done here.

if this game has anything that isn't in mario bros, it needs to be shown earlier otherwise people will lose interest.

Nice clone of Mario Bros. I grew up with the original nintendo game, and you have incorporated a lot of the old-school feel. I found the jumping to be a bit too "floaty" and not very precise when jumping on enemies. My only gripe is that this is almost too much like Mario Bros., and it would be more interesting if you made the power-ups, coins, monsters, etc. look a bit different, or incorporate a few different elements, as it just looks like a complete knock off with only the main character looking different. Otherwise, it is a nice looking game and if you could incorporate different visuals I believe it would be a great little game.
