For a game called "Clear Skies" it is ironic the visual range is so short. Speed controls are very poor. Needs a lot of work.

Flying around for 5 minutes doing nothing but escort a plane following some sort of bizarre path around the ocean is boring. Losing sight of it and losing is annoying. Not being able to see further than 30 feet in front of the plane is a pain. In more constructive comments, you might consider not having speed decrease automatically--so you push W until you're going as fast as you want, and then you -stay- at that speed until you hit S to slow down.

The interface is taking to much space on the screen.
And a radar would be very usefull...
Anyway a good start.
