What the crap is up in level 4?
There's a beach to the north, and openings to the south. I thought the enemies were coming from below but then BAM! they kill my peon and blow up my buildings. This will be difficult...

There is no 'wood bug', it's an ID 10T error (aka RTFM) . Look at the picture of trees in the tutorial. *Those* are the ones you can harvest, the others are scenery. FYI, you can skip the Tutorial as you have to play it as the first level anyway. There's also an improved version here - http://www.kongregate.com/games/kor6k/peoples-war-evo which has multi-select and various other improvements. Nice game, and the sequel/upgrade is even better. 4/5

Even with the knowledge of where they're coming from, still impossible. Units are too hard to maneuver.

The peons do collect wood. they just take there bloody time to do it. and they look like they are walking into the trees rather than chopping it or something. didn't have a porblem with it tbh
