Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Please note: If you are using Ruffle, badges will not work normally. In order to earn a badge in a Flash game, you will need to complete the badge, then submit a screenshot (showing both proof of completion and your username) as a missing badge report using the report missing achievement option. Well, it WAS nice and peaceful until about 5 seconds before the end when you revealed for the first time that there was a time limit to this game. 1/5 for the unannounced time limit plus a 1 point boost for the peacefulness of the game up to that point, so 2/5. For those who are going to come later who will point out that lots of his other "find the gnomes" games mention a 10 minute time limit, it doesn't help if this is the first game in the series that you've ever played. Note to the programmer... no matter how many games you've made, always, repeat, ALWAYS assume that the latest game you're working on is going to be the first game of yours the player's ever come across because for plenty of players out there, that's going to be true.
