Beschreibung
Battles are raging in the body all the time between white blood cells and bacteria.
In this game you are a young white blood cell soldier with a promising career in the defense system. You have earned yourself the name "Macrophage One", meaning "Big Eater Number 1," and you have impressed your commander so much that he has entrusted you to defend this frontline invasion by a particularly aggressive strain of bacteria. It is a life and death battle - one that you are determined to win!
Spielanleitung
Choose your level of difficulty. Once you have mastered BEGINNER, proceed to EXPERT.
Use the mouse to guide the white blood cell to the bacteria. The white blood cell will eat the bacteria as soon as contact is made.
When bacteria glow orange, cell division is beginning.
Some bacteria have thicker cell walls, and these strong walls must be weakened before these bacteria can be eaten. Bump a bacterium repeatedly, or “shoot” the bacteria with antibodies, in order to weaken them and facilitate the white blood cells’ attack.
Use the mouse to aim, and then click the mouse to fire out antibodies at a particular bacterium.
If accurately fired, the antibodies will attach to the bacteria. If you miss, the antibody will lay passively in the battlefield. The white blood cell may then either pick up the misfired antibody and re-fire it again, or repeatedly bump a bacterium towards an antibody to cause them to attach to each other.
When playing the game on the EXPERT level, be sure to avoid the toxins produced by the bacteria as they will slow you down for a while.
The Infection Meter shows how sick the person is. If the infection meter fills completely, the game is over.
Your Health Bonus depends upon your infection meter. The lower it is, the better the score.
If the infection is cleared before the time runs out, you will receive a full Heath Bonus plus a Time Bonus for any remaining time.
