The music is perfect for this. It makes me feel like I am running to something important, carrying something important, etc. I feel like if I mute the game music and play something that sounds like I am being chased, the game would be completely different to play... Now what am I running towards?
They don't know what they're running towards, but they intend to find out. Backstory: These aliens weren't the ones who built the tunnels; they just happened across them and decided to explore. They've already found some cool alien tech (see: the Student, the Angel, and the Duplicator), but they're still looking for the species that built all that.

**** I finished all levels including the additional roads...... "You haven't found your home! More levels coming soon...." ._.
I could certainly add per-character highscores. When you fall off the first time, it would submit your score to that character's scoreboard, and then you could respawn and go for an overall highscore. Does that sound good?

I for one found the simplicity of the first game to add to the surreal and immersive feel of the journey, as though my computer had somehow fallen into a psychedelic costume portal ending in Nirvana. With all the additional metagame content like optional lizard-mechanics and "end of the line" dead ends and starmaps (and less music and a smaller model?) this iteration feels more like playing a standard running game with unneeded auxiliary features, and thus I give this sequel four stars and not five. Four stars is still higher than I rate most games on Kongregate.
I have to wonder if it feels "standard" because you've gotten used to the genre in the past six years. It might also be the "unneeded" features thing, but a lot of people seem to like them. --- Also, um... this has three songs rather than one. How is that "less music"?

Great sequel to the previous Run games, felt the base levels were a bit easier than some of the previous ones, but the optional levels add a nice challenge. Keep up the great job!
