Steel and Claw ist ein spannender Multiplayer-Deckbuilder-Roguelike-Dungeon-Crawler, der dich herausfordert, einen Wald-Dungeon zu erkunden und deine Grenzen zu testen. Du kannst deinen eigenen Weg wählen, um die Gefahren des Dungeons zu meistern. Spiele alleine und stelle dich den Tiefen oder schließe dich mit anderen zusammen, um eine schlagkräftige Gruppe zu bilden. Wie weit schaffst du es im Dungeon? Begib dich auf ein episches Abenteuer in Steel and Claw und finde es heraus!

Spielanleitung

Besiege das Spiel, indem du den Wald durchquerst und die umherziehenden Gegnerbanden besiegst oder ihnen ausweichst. Gelange zu den Dungeons und besiege sie. Arbeite mit anderen zusammen, um alle 4 Untoten-Dungeons zu räumen und die Karte zu besiegen. Bewege dich durch jeden Dungeon, indem du auf einen verbundenen Raum klickst. Elite-Räume sind schwierigere Kämpfe, bieten aber bessere Belohnungen. Die Räume werden schwieriger, je tiefer du im Dungeon bist und je mehr Spieler im Raum sind. Räume haben außerdem „Dunkelheit“: Jedes Mal, wenn ein Raum besiegt und ein Preis genommen wird, steigt die Dunkelheit und es wird schwerer. Wenn du einen Raum besiegst und keinen Preis nimmst, wird die Dunkelheit zurückgesetzt. Spielertode setzen die Dunkelheit ebenfalls zurück… Aber das will niemand! Im Kampf: Ziehe Karten auf Gegner, dich selbst oder Freunde, um die angezeigte Aktion auszuführen. Karten zeigen Energiekosten und Kartentyp: Angriff, Verteidigung, Buff oder Debuff sowie eine Beschreibung. Wenn du keine Energie (unten rechts angezeigt) oder Karten mehr hast, beende deinen Zug. Zu Beginn deines nächsten Zuges ziehst du Karten von deinem Nachziehstapel.

Balance
Follow Up Strike now has a cost but does more base damage.
Greater Sacrificial Cleave cost increased but does more base damage.
AP and DP training capped at 2
Poisoned Fumes and Deadly Poisoned Fumes have been buffed.
Increasing Strike and Greater Increasing Strike have been buffed.
Fortitude buffed to match description.
Quick Enrage reduced from 50% to 25%

Toads and Turtles Buffed
Room scaling changed at 60, 80, 100, 120

Dungeons can potentially generate wider at deeper levels (careful pathfinding has the chance to avoid dangerous paths)

I thought Kong was dead and only checked it on a whim, and I was awestruck by this. People are still making great games on Kong!!! Despite the black and white figures on coloured graphics looking a bit odd, I gave it a shot. Very surprised and very impressed. As Caton says, this game has big potential. The multiplayer component is very unique. It's weirdly imbalanced, since a team of 4 coordinated friends will steamroll through, whereas a solo player will have a much more difficult time progressing, but... I don't dislike it, weirdly enough. If the game gets traction, you could have a "solo mode", and of course, if there are too many players, you'll need multiple instances anyway, but I like the novelty. The game does get a bit repetitive though. I reached level 94 with another player and gameplay felt very samey, but I understand that the game is still very early in development, so more content is coming. Keep up the good work!

The game has big potential. It needs some extra balancing though. For example, I was killed by an Elite spider which was webbing me twice per turn till a point where I didn't draw any cards per turn which rendered me completely defenseless to his attacks. Other than the balancing I don't see any other major flaws for the game, combats are intriguing, drawings are nice, upgrade system is great. 4 out of 5 from me on this one.

Thanks very much for the feedback! I too have been an unfortunate victim of the spider web debuff. It used to be a big problem (the spider web debuff card could be re-used and they were applying it over and over.) Now I've left them with two in their inventory and they expire on first use. But I could still see it being a problem if you get unlucky. (It happened to me the other night with multiple spiders at a time, but I was ready for it) I'll knock it down to one. Still an interesting mechanic and it will provide some pain without being not-fun. This change will be applied in the next lull in server traffic :)
