great game i made something similar but much more simpler you can find on kongregate
the only thing i would say is can you make the shield blink a few times before it expires soo i know when to hide from balloons
)

and same for when you lose a life i just noticed when you die you hit 10 more balloons and they don't kill you make something soo its visible...
