Under rating threshold (show) Any chance the metrics.json could be moved to api.kongregate.com so games that are hosted on Kongregate can access it without need of an external server?

This seems like a very rare case for a game to need to know its own rating and gameplays. I suppose it could be used for bribing players to rate highly, but I don't know that we want to really condone that. In any case, you can send us a direct message if you'd like to discuss this in more detail. (And yes UnknownGuardian, I will finally get through your email queue sometime soon!)

Under rating threshold (show) I don't actually know what this article means, but I'm guessing it's a good thing.

The goal was just to let you know about some useful tools on the site that you may not have been aware of. Hope it helped! :)

Under rating threshold (show) This really encourages me to become developer. Maybe I should start developing little bit earlier than I planned

You can never start too early. Learn some ActionScript, or perhaps pick up <a href="http://www.kongregate.com/pages/stencyl">Stencyl</a> to jump in and start working on game development. Good luck! :)

Under rating threshold (show) I've just learning C++ because I'm interested in developing games and it seemed like the right place to start. It's going to take me a while, but if I were to create a game using C++ would I be able to upload to Kongregate in any way, shape or form? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question but as I said I'm new to this and as a lover of Kongregate it only seemed to make sense to see if I could upload a game here.

Under rating threshold (show) Question from a java programer, what programing language does kongragate support for the games? Which is best recommended for the clients and also the server to work with the System?

Under rating threshold (show) What is the easiest way to get in touch with developers regarding creating music for their games?

Under rating threshold (show) Is it okay for other websites to post a Kongregate game without noticing the developers or asking permission? I do not recall it being mentioned anywhere, but last week our game showed up on some weird escape games website. Since it is not finished yet, there were some nasty comments on it. Is this okay according to your privacy/copyright policy? Because the main thing we have against it is that they are giving us a bad name by uploading a WIP as a full game without explanation. We are students in the branche, and would like it if this was not the first thing to show up on a google search. Source: http://www.escapegames24.com/2012/06/jora-island-walkthrough.html

Under rating threshold (show) @chanman09 I myself have learned c++ for game development, but I have found that C# (it is very similar to C++) is much easier for a small dev team to work with. I would suggest using the Unity-3D engine because it can be uploaded to Kong and uses C#.
