Right now some creeps/gadgets like the Alien that spits you out and the cannon actually slow you down if you're going above a certain speed (let's say 450), hitting these when you're going fast brings you down to ~300 Speed. Hitting these should feel satisfying, not the opposite. The way the game is right now, you're mostly trying to keep the geek off the ground and not touching anything others than regular creeps and teammate vehicles..
