I finally realized that the only thing that matters in survival mode is how many times Meteor randomly triggers. Outta here! I'm off to play a game where I have some agency.
I noticed this... the little numbers will light up only if you give the correct combination of boxes/Xs, not if you input a plausible combination... this makes any level, without exception, instantly solvable by simply trying to fill any line in various combinations... too bad, the idea for the puzzle is neat, but this makes it way too easy
It's not all that helpful actually but: you can buy the +Weapon upgrade in a tier you don't have access to... If you have enough money, and two spaces free in inventory, buy the highest flag upgrade you have access too, and the selection will move to the first upgrade in the next tier. You cna buy and use it even if you don't have access to it.
...Why are you praising this? It's an experiment in Unity, the author says so, just something he made to toy a little, and you talk of atmosphere like it was some deep insightful commentary on the human nature?
"To resuscitate your father, you'll need 1000 stars... I recommend you start by wishing for a better grip on the ground, a faster run and a stronger personal gravitational well"
the game would be better if you had some sort of control over how they bump and bounce... As it is, it's fun and funny, but completely dominated by luck
The people who voted down negative comments are just pretentious. If they defend the honor of this OMG SO DEEP game, they can say they're OMG SO DEEP as well for being the only ones to understand it. Nothing to understand here, move along!
...What?
Not entertaining, not profound, not challenging in a gaming or mental sense, devoid of any meaning.
Shoddy graphics, unresponsive controls, overused game style and cryptic overlord-style dialogue do not a good game make.
Let's see: the launch is totally random, you have no control over your flight, the last weapon is actually a downgrade (impossible to aim)... Yeah, great game.
Do you all honestly think that the extra pieces are thrown in to confuse you? I think they're just an oversight, or people are finding easier solutions than anticipated.
