I loved it, 5/5. My one concern is that it was a really quick playthrough and there is no replay value. Online play or harder missions would help this. I'm looking forward to the sequel... excellent ideas and gameplay.
I ended up getting around 700000 on wave 17 or something of the like. I had 6 lives but ended up killing myself because the lag was unbearable. Spread shot actually worsens your aim, making it difficult to kill red from a range. For future patches/installments, consider making more varied, difficult enemies instead of large hordes of them. As far as I'm concerned, the most difficult enemy in this game is lag, which caused me around 10-12 error messages after every death because my computer couldn't handle the particles exploding (even with the lowest settings). I would also recommend making lives more expensive.
I feel like the developer deserves major kudos for this game. It makes certain that your gold game isn't one dimensional in the sense that you are only considering holes in one. The achievements are great. 5/5 for innovation, polished gfx, and for putting up with so much crap over the physics (I saw nothing wrong.)
