The Lich King/Warchief/Demon Lord upgrades are highly useful for killing off bosses before they can even touch your gem hoard. Get to each of the them as promptly as possible, focusing on one of the 3 upgrade paths at a time.
For those having trouble with the hard badge, here are some towers to help counter champions: 1. Ninja champions - weak against Chilling Crypt and Freeze on-hit effect. 2. Paladin champions - weak against Orcish Den and Bastilla Den. 3. Assassin champions - weak against Evileye Temple and Frenzy spell. 4. Priest champions - weak against Poison and Blaze on-hit effects. 5. - Mage champions - weak against Orcish Den and Bastilla Den. As with all champions, save your mana for rapid meteor strikes. + if you believe this helps.
The impossible badge might be impossible, but the bane of my existence in the badge's difficulty is focus loss that freezes my ship in-game right into the path of incoming fire. Maybe the Frantic series could do with a screen size increase?
Wouldn't it be sensible to make the mage a DPSer (low health, high damage), the horseman a tank and the swordsman an offtank (medium health, medium damage)?
Scratch my last comment, since it is usually much too hard for some playes to follow my strategy, so... NEW PLAN. 1. Buy a dart monkey on wave 1. 2. Buy a tack shooter directly after. 3. Buy two more dart monkeys, acannon, an a boomerang thrower. 4. Fully upgrade the cannon and put down cash on a couple of upgrades onthe other towers. 5. In between one wave, calculate the sale value of everything you have but the cannon, minus a super monkey's cost. 6. Sell everything but the cannon once you can afford a super monkey. 7. Upgrade the monkey's vision bonuses, then sell the cannon and buy as many super monkeys as you please. *Hope the update here helps!*
I played this game as the iPod version countless times and beat it on hard with all lives intact. I decided to test my strategy on here, and this iat I came up with... 1. Buy a dart monkey, a tack shooter, a cannon, and (MAYBE) another tower of your choice. 2. Upgrade them all twice or thrice, but upgrade the cannon to its maximum level. 3. Save as fugallyas possible untl just before the first M.O.A.B., (round ), then sell everything (but the extra tower) and buya super monkey. 4. Upgrade the damage bonuses as fast as possible, then continue buying more of them and their upgrades.
Protips for Free, y'all! 1. Have cannons at both the picnic area and the spawn entrance. This allows you to control traffic from both ends effectively. 2. DO NOT USE FLAME TURRETS. Though they weaken the ants' resistances quite a lot, they also increase their movement speeds at higher levels as a result of the burn damage. 3. Try stacking turrets that share a bonus stat multiplier with one another. Examples include the sonic turret and the lighting caster. 4. No matter how you slice it, high-damage turrets such as the missile rack and laser beam are a must. Be sure, however, to back them up with lots of fast-firing towers.
Getting bumped is instant death when trying to go for awards on a run. Seriously, even if you get barely lipped or grazed from the side of th hip, you are stunned for a solid second. Maybe make it so that bumps are different depending on the angle of deflection. (i.e. not so ridiculous on a glancing blow?)
If you're having issues beating certain bosses, take a look at your army build. You should try to have one each of the following, whether each person fills the role or two or three fill multiple roles: 1 dedicated damage dealer, 1 healer or fighter with a way to sustain health, 1 ranged fighter, 1 tank fighter to take hits, (have them be the first in the line) and 1 fighter with an effect such as freeze or burn.
