It would be nice to be able to reset upgrades– even if it cost some flowers, I would change my strategy for upgrading now compared to when I started playing.
The instructions are not well explained. It shouldn't have taken me as long as it did to figure out the controls. Once I did though, it was a lot of fun.
a good start. exploring was kind of fun (the statue, the dragon, and the house... kudos for the Kong symbol) also the pool was neat, since you didn't walk on water or immediately die/get stuck. Add a scenario and other gameplay type things and it'll make a nice game, i think.
I would have finished this game 3 days ago, but I've only had it save my place once. Rather frustrating, but I like this format better than the point and click, to my surprise. 4/5, would be nice if the save worked better.
good game, ish, but in terms of the contest I think it would benefit from being able to rotate the setup with your mouse instead of clicking on the arrows.
it's a nice game but it definitely needs work. jumping is rather non-responsive, while using the white sphere is finicky and doesn't work very well. also, as has been mentioned, not being able to push 2 buttons at once makes it almost impossible. lastly, it's so dark i found myself almost needing to squint to see. i was hoping the ball of light would help, but it barely casts a glow. With work, it would make a 5/5 but as is, I don't think it merits any more than 3
I know it would make it slightly less minimalist, but I think it would be cool if the white square drew a path behind it... some of the patterns would look neat. Already though, 5/5
great game! My only suggestions would be these: A duck function, please! Also it would be useful if you could merge the reflection with the image as a check... not to be able to move while merged, but just to see it all put together (I've seen this in Hello World, and it was a brainsaver) Other than that, really fun :) 5/5
knowing the combining capacity would be nice... that is to say, how many other elements any given element combines with, or how many combinations are left for that particular element
