Aside from the programmer art (what doesn't really make that much of a difference between a good game and a bad game, really, just look at bob the button, Fancy Pants Adventures, etc. ), dodging bullets in this game is nearly impossible, the movement speed is to sluggish and the hitzone is pretty big for a run 'n gun. Also the wall turrets are OP and the jumpers and missiles are constantly offscreen. After completing a level, it seems I have to go from C to B again (what does that even mean??). This game needs work..
Uhm... it's great you made 326 escape games and that's something to be proud of but there's no story in this on whatsoever, I didn't even know what I was trying to achieve, I was just clicking things and at the end just got the text "Great escape". Just a little backstory, and maybe a few jumpscares (considering the horror-ecape theme) would be great, I mean, you have a blue women with bloody lips in the main screen, you could work with that right? Write a few lines about how she is cursed or trying to keep you there or maybe even something original if you would, and BAM, you've got a whole different game...
Never thought that by removing enemies and pick-ups and such from a bullet hell game you can actually change the experience completely... With some tweaked graphics, looping music, faster gameplay and MOAR BULLETS of course, this might just hit the spot.
It bothers me to see how this game is getting ignored, while it is actually one of the better games out there, kinda makes me wonder if there are more great underdog games out there...
You seem to know how to make a basic game, but jigsaw puzzles aren't really that popular, honestly, try experimenting some more with game developing and I'm sure you'll come up with something awesome ;)
Honestly, I'm really disappointed by this game. This should be a improved sequel to frantic frigates (you know, keeping the good parts, fixing things people complain about and adding new features you came up with after the original) and yet it feels like this is more of an old alpha of frantic frigate you still had lying around, with a very basic upgrade system, less challenging gameplay and a lot of other things you did so very very right in the original game simply missing...
It's a good begin, but still needs some working on. You might just want to resize the screen and allow switching between weapons instead of having a button for each weapon.
I am just fooling around with the game script now... Will take some weeks until its finished and ready to be played
