Darksol, your friendly neighborhood thrill seeker. Rambunctious and good humored, I'd like to imagine him giving out a new skill for Matt or Lance as a reward for defeating a boss.
Accuracy count seems to be buggy, I've seen my rating drop by multiple percentile off of one missed shot midway through the level, after I've already fired well over a hundred shots
Yeah I don't know where but in uploading a new version about one and a half day ago I apparantly made a booboo as more people had the same problem. Sorry to have that happen! :/
This game, is seriously disappointing. More than anything it's the side missions, since most of them run down to either grind or luck runs. Allies only requires you to grind until your "allies" are tot powerful to be able to kill themselves on your enemies, and your skill has no say in the matter of victory. and "No Hit" missions are the WORST of the bunch, especially with the level limits, so even if you have gone to the work of grinding yourself up the ranks it won't help. Game seemed fun at first but the BS side missions and their terrible mechanics have bumped this down to a 2/5, didn't deserve badges
as most people have already said, the game is fine up until about level 23. At this point your towers have gone from pathetic to totally useless, even at full upgrades. And the main gun isn't much better, lacking enough damage or recharge to be effective, this is, once again, at full upgrades. One suggestion I can make is to give towers a range increase upgrade, as this would allow the ground towers to better defend themselves and the AA towers would have a chance to shoot down the fighters BEFORE they unloaded from halfway across the screen.
My only complaint about this game is the inability to do much else while playing it. If I minimize the window or play any full screen game adventure capitalist will stop all timers and do absolutely nothing.
It's a really good game, I honestly only have 3 complaints...1) Pickups are too visible, this sounds nice in a comment but in game it just means that sometimes pickups (money and powerups) will cover up bullets and cause you to be hit more often that you should. 2 Hitboxes... the hitboxes for bullets AND ships seem to be a little large, i noticed myself constantly hit by the larger bullets that I thought I had dodged, and I noticed my ship constantly firing at off center spots on enemy ships that caused it to miss. 3 The game is a little short, once I hit that point where everything just clicked into place and I was destroying everything easily the game was over
Everyone keeps saying the game takes too much grinding but if you know what to go for from the beginning grinding is actually rather minimal.
Take darts in each arm and tech in the middle, a few early upgrades to blop magnet and maybe 3 big bloon sabotage levels along the way, I ended up with both darts at the final upgrade level by the time I got to the 20th level with very little grinding and got the doom burst core during the level which, all together, will let you easily take down the boss.
Now... on the other hand, to get all the trophies in the game... yeah, that will take a lot of grinding.
would be nice if we could turn off some upgrades, I bought grenadiers expecting a decent unit, but quickly found that they were much less useful than rifles or marksmen. And 3 times as commonly caught apparently, because my teams always ended up being majority grenades
