I can't understand why this game requires so much memory. It lags for a fraction of a second every time an enemy is spawned, making it unplayable in it's current form. It's certainly fun, and I can't wait to play it some more, but I can't recommend this to anyone yet.
The WebGL export is likely the problem. I know a lot of developers shy away from Unity -> WebGL for this. Dev-side, this game doesn't take much resources-wise (almost nothing in fact). Also need to account for Kongregate's ads. I was playing an empty project as a test reference and ended up north of 300mb RAM chrome tab in Kongregate once. Not super performance-friendly let's say.
I was disappointed that typing "Thank you for playing :)" didn't give a bonus ending like "Congratulations!" "Now stop typing" "Please" "You're killing me" "Blaaargh" and at this point it looks like the game crashes and boom, final ending.
When you have Buy x10 selected, how about a hover over the prices of each company that does a flyout to display the price of the next 10 purchases of that company.
I had 40 donut shops and 20 shrimp boats and the Buy x10 option for donuts was higher than shrimp boats, but the Buy x1 was lower. After some consideration, I realized that the exponential increase was higher at this point for Donut Shops, so that's why.
This isn't needed for anything other than just curious, so very low priority. That's how much I love this game. The only thing I could want is just to be able to see the individual price of the 10 shops I'm about to buy in bulk. Everything else is just grand.
How about a progress display for titles. For instance, in The Warlord title, when you hover over it, it says "Deal 1,000,000 damage in total" then has the dotted underline and the stat bonuses. Above the underline in parentheses, you could have a running total of damage done so we can see how close we are.
For things like "The Weakness Discoverer" where you have to do the same thing over and over, or for the age ones, you could say the closest you've gotten to them. So age would be the highest age you've had so far.
I'd like the ability to go down in upgrades, selling the upgrades for souls, or not even. I just want to take my life back down so that I can hold space and just have a constant stream of soul income instead having to wait forever for all my guys to die.
