Enemies were a bit too spongy for my taste and all the different attack minigames were a bit too much. Less is more! Also both machine gun and the claws skill are way too strong.
Honestly, the totally randomized songs feel very frustrating to me. Nothing like starting off your new run with "Through the Fire and the Flame" compressed into 10 seconds. Also makes for some *weird* difficulty spikes.
There is some element of strategy here. But the fact it's monetized to the moon and back and the terrible matchmaking undermine what little there is for the most part. Not much you can do if the only enemies you are matched against are people with double your HP.
SO MUCH FUN having to reattempt the oneshot challenge over and over again because the game just randomly decides that I do 0 damage. Seems to be very random, might be related to disabling auto attack (which makes it even more infuriating)
Really needs a tile preview and an indicator of what way the enemie are going, even a preview of what kind of enemies would be welcome. Nothing like connecting two tiles thinking you got rid of one spawn only to realise then that the remaining spawns go the exact opposite of the way they used to go.
Took me around 10 hours, might've wasted one or two by not always going for the merging bonus of 9 or 17. Only discovered very late that you can timeskip.
Combo Master or Combo Character Collector would've been better BOTDs :v
it's really amazing how much markets suck before you unlock the wheel. And even then they're not all built equally. Granary and Goods Market feel hard to justify even with wheelbarrows. One is a huge building just for a single ressource that's also super slow to do anything with and the other one is severly hampered by the 25% threshold.
Guild Level 20 is might be "easy" but it's absolutely not doable within a day. *Especially* when this version of the game wipes your save every couple days for no discernible reason. Not even importing a save from Steam seems to work :v
I'm usually not a big fan of Bullet Hell games but this one is fun. The bullet blocking is a fun mechanic and the simple visuals and music keep you engaged :D
Maybe the arena could be a bit larger or the POV a bit wider.
