The enemies were cached as bitmaps, but that’s fairly irrelevant. I just used mc.draw(); when an enemy died, or blood got on the ground. The movieclip you draw onto has have bitmap data API imported onto it, and you need to create a bitmap data object inside of it.

Hey,

For EZR, the way I managed to get all of the stuff on screen is that the dead enemies are “painted” onto the map. There’s one big bitmap of the area you play in, and enemies’ bitmap data (depending on how the fall and whatnot) is copied/pasted onto the play area, and the enemy is deleted.
