Ok so the game looked nice at first.... and then it just started begging for money, while providing a incredibly slow Energy regen rate. No thanks. 1 star
I really like how this game is coming along. I Have gotten passed world 30. Just a note for when you realese v1.0. Consider making it more of a decision to go full on workers or full on exploring. Right now there is no point in resource gathering past world 10. And The Trainers plus Gyms do not do enough to warrant getting them. Plus the fact that its impossible to really just fill up a resource job due to cost make it even less attractive. So yeah, just my thoughts.
after about world 10 the only thing worth doing is continue making your army better. Resource gathering is pointless since you get more resources from attacking. Its like 100 times for efficient to just not have any trimps in resources or as Trainers. Just keep a few in Science and the rest breeding. Switch between maps and world just enough to get the upgrades and enough metal to apply them. and Gems to keep making more housing for more trimps. Thats it.
I remember this game so much. So many memories, I joined Kong around the time this got badges. Took me forever to get that last badge, but it is possible so don't give up.
Came back just to say. That even if it was a guaranteed Kindle Fire, I wouldn't play this dreck of a game. That 4.0 rating is so fabricated, its not even funny.
Interesting Game, alot of Flaws. One Tip I could give people just starting. Do not upgrade anything except yourself. The coin drops are very low as it is without your teammates killing guys and taking your coins. So yeah just upgrade yourself once that is done, do Teammates and guns.
Ok So I took SpicyHorses advice and keep playing to see if the hope part of the game is not really a problem. And I am sorry but it is. Its a terrible problem. In the last 2 days I have had to stop playing for several hours each time before I could do anything again. The worse part I suppose is that sometimes you just need a little bit more XP and you have to wait at least 30-40 minutes to have enough hope to be able to do one level and make sure you don't just barely miss that level up. The ammount of grinding that needs to be done to get a single lvl25 Disciple is really dumb when you consider the little bit of energy you actually have. I have been sitting here for the last 3 hours waiting for 8 Hope at a time to do one more level and then waiting again. Its like the game does not want me to play, its like it really wants my money but does not offer that 'just enough' for me to throw some kreds at it. The grind is too much and the resources are to scarce. And for this, I am Out.

Believe it or not, we also want people to have a life outside of The Gate, so playing like twice a day when the energy is recharged is just fine with us. But of course, not everyone wants to do that and as they say.. "You can't please all the people all of the time."
Ok this game is not bad. Its actually kinda decent. My biggest issue Is the Energy. I ran out of energy twice. Once at level 7 and now at lvl 9. First time i only had to wait about an hour and I had a few things to do other modes like arena in that time frame. And one boss battle later and I gained enouigh xp for lvl 8. Now I ran out of energy again at just half the xp bar and have nothing to do. Nothing at all. This game could have been good. The energy system ussually ruins good games because people want to play, they dont want to be forced to stop playing or pay money. There are other things that would make this game more enjoyable that just involve a few small changes aswell.
There are some really excellent player guides to be found in the game's forum section here on Kong. They outline how you can play the game constantly without running out of energy. It's really a matter of understanding the systems and taking proper advantage of them. Check it out and let us know your thoughts. Thanks!
ok this is stupid... I start the month with 3500. did not click a single time in a whole month because of no energy. Slowly made a little less than 800 combination of waiting and stocks. End of the month tax almost 900... Thats BS. This game needs to do away with energy or figure out a better way to tax people.
So This wall You hit before reaching Vigintillion angels... Its just ridiculous. The pace is slowed down to a crawl even worse than the Crawl it was at before the Surge. Getting anything now is a Pipe dream I am still about 200 novendecillion angels away from 1 Vigintillion angels and I am getting about 1 novendecllion angels per 16 hours. So what do I have to do wait a few months before doing anything?
Dont get the speed upgrade Until its the last thing you need. This way its many times easier to do the quests. I did it this way and was able to win on the very next run with Stamina to spare. Speed just makes you run through the levels faster so You only need it when you want to finish.
