The balance is way out of whack. Making a weapon type that requires no player input at all sufficient to complete the entire game from start to finish(well, and a few magnets) is just not good design. I haven't tried the other weapons, but what's the point when I can just stack lightning rods and do nothing until wave 14 and half-afk afterwards? In any case, the upgrades are just... disappointing. The previous part had a LOT more upgrades(like, 6 times more?) and they were way more diverse that what this part has, not to mention it was way longer than half an hour. Although this can count as a jab towards the free-to-play market, as a genuine game, it really grinds the series into dust. 1/5 on this one.
Guys, if you are so intent on badmouthing the developer for "stealing" this game, at least do a bit of research. As shown on the ArmorGames page of the game, Antony Lavelle is behind the concept and programming of Upgrade Complete 3mium. One of the links in the top left corner (The exp one) leads to his website. Destination Kepler is also made by him, and that one's got no problems. The previous upgrade complete games were released on kong by ArmorGames, the publisher. If there are any problems with the game(and I doubt there are any), they'll be on the developer/publisher venue. And here's a link to an interview he gave to ArmorGames, just to drive the point home(as in, Tony and Antony Lavelle are the same person): http://armorgames.com/news/the-names-lavelle-tony-lavelle
Uh, no factory previews? How am I going to know what should I build when I'm getting attacked by the enemy right from the beginning? 3/5 for now, it IS a good game, but please, make either a preparation phase before the start of a level or factory previews(and less lag pl0x).
This is something I have never seen before. It's nice that you chose Unity as it's not as laggy as Flash Player. The idea itself is unique, the style is simple yet fitting, the controls are slick and it's mindbending at times! 5/5+fav for you, good sir. Some level tweaking will be good though.
So I get a quest to deliver grain coupons to a beggar, give them to him and 5-50k lumber fall from the sky? Or does the beggar has actually unlimited resources? Gimme MOAR!
Okay, so to win, you need to get the integers out of the range. It's either 32 bits or 64 bits. 32 bits is 11111111111111111111111111111111 in binary, thus it's... well count yourself. 64 bits is 1111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111111, count is too. Get the upgrade's money out of the range and you won! Press that little "+" button which becomes green when you mouseover if you're not colorblind and which is to the right of the "-" button and above the actual rating in brackets so everyone may attempt to solve this enigma.
What the? The game lags so much it's unplayable! Consider coding optimizations. I won't even mind if the tenses would load and unload upon switching. 2/5 for potential.
Personally I think there should be a save feature. Not your everyday one, but a rogue-like one. When you quit the game, you save. Once you load the game, the save file deletes itself. This way the game will retain itself like it's now, but it will also relieve the frustation caused by anything that can close the game.
Okay, so I passed the whole game oh Hard and I'm highly dissapointed by this game. Firstly, the start-game. You're too weak, your enemies are too strong to be fought in open field. Secondly, the sieges. Instead of having enemies running towards me with anger in attempt to defend their castle, they just get on the walls and stay there as stupid cannon fodder while I smite them with my starting skill. Thirdly, the money. You're too short of them to be actually BUYING anything. You just keep conquering. Anyways, this game dissapointed me. Sorry, but it's a 1/5. I hope you can balance the game for the sake of good rating.
Passed pretty far from the start(managed to squeeze approx. 100k off two floors of almost fully-ranged employees) and now I'll have to offer you a few suggestions: 1. A confirmation window for upgrading offices(of course with "Don't remind" and "Remind" functions located at the confirmation window and the menu respectively. It's frustrating to upgrade an office with 4 researchers to a janitory office by accident. 2. An office tree for informativity on what to upgrade to gain PROFIT. 3. A new promotion system: instead of interactible workers, make their desks interactible. At the end of the day(or at the start of the next one, or whenever you want) everyone check their desks if they're promoted(let's say the GEO is lazy and employees are eager to be promoted). Can't think of other suggestions now.
This game is about precision, not about electrifying everything in range constantly. Just click when you need and you won't ever need higher recharging rate.
