Great work on the game, for the first time was building a sustainable ecosystem in such cuddly way :). The pirate girl, I am afraid, could affect the PEGI rating a bit ;P
Nice game, could get some improvements. With no variety in enemies (leading to no variety in tactics) it gets tiresome after a while. If you introduced different types of dungeons with different foes and worked on the weapons (grenades suck, because there is always someone at your feet), the game would benefit greatly. Also - do some button or sth for dropping items while in dungeons. Nice idea with the journal entries, make them affect gameplay for additional achievement feeling ;)
The game is simple - and by simple I mean "simply sweet" :). Also a great excercise for game devs. This was more role-playing game than half of so-called RPGs based on endlessly buffing stats.
