There are some slight yet major errors, in my opinion, with recovering from blocking. Almost all of my deaths on level 5 have been unavoidable situations where my recovery frame from blocking a volley of arrows is exactly when I am supposed to crash into a tree, resulting in my death, or blocking a duelist and crashing into a hoplite for a similar reason. While I understand that the game is meant to be challenging, it would be nice to have 1 or 2 frames less of recovery. That's just my opinion. Otherwise excellent game, 3/5 for the reason I listed above.
Holy sh*t. Probably the best flash game I have ever seen, and on par with many titles in storyline alone. There have been few games that made me tear up after it was over, and this is one of them. xdanond, you are a genius, and while I understand that it is difficult to make a sequel, I don't think this game needs it-maybe more of a companion storyline. However you decide to advance this series, be cognizant of the fact that you have made the greatest flash game I have ever, and possibly will ever, play.
Great game, though the campaign was a little easy. For mission 14, which I beat on my first try, I would suggest Commando with First Blood, Socom, Direct Feed, and Surge. Good night.
Hunger mace is really quite effective. Add that to a hunger-boosting ring and you have nearly infinite subordinates to use. I suggest the kangaroos for early game.
I'd rate this game 5 stars for 3 .50 cal rounds...
I did, so I am rating this 5 stars! What a good game. Addictive, fun, interesting, at times, difficult, but still. The only problems with this game are the "g" for companion glitch (Hank dropped my RPG, not much of a problem, but still) and those obnoxious riot police zombies that always seem to crash my party. However, still a 5 star. Hopefully, after Dead Zone, their next game will feature Jack as a playable character and in this style of game.
