Takes a long time to really get into the game, but once you start getting stage achievements, upgrades are easily affordable. Then, unlocking more weapons are your priority, but getting a lot of kills isn't too hard on the later waves. Just thank god the old kamikaze barrel trick still works.
It's all too easy once you learn to abuse the invincibility powerup. kill one nest, grab powerup, kamikaze other two nests (gives 2 life) chase down exploders, once invincibility runs out, shoot the rest to death. Got to wave 66, but the difficulty doesn't increase after about wave 20.
Haha, love the 100x combo text! It takes too much play time to get the shotguns though. I had all the other guns bought before I was level 8, and it takes forever to get to level 10.
