The thing i dont like about Antropos(level25) is that, only the last form is the challenge, but I have to replay the whole thing, to try it again. Which makes it kinda boring.
I don't like that you gain significant XP and gold for replaying levels and even if you lose the battle. This means that if you lose a battle you dont have find the solution, because the next time the same battle will be easier. Furthermore, I have the feeling if you play the hard levels too early, then the later normal levels will be too easy, and if you play the early hard levels later, then they will be too easy. maybe im not right, i did not buy the game yet, but i guess there may be problems with the difficulty level of the game later.
Still it is one of the best Tower defence game. 5/5 from me.
There were a lot of weird and interesting balance questions for the game. We originally had some big penalties for failing (you would only get 20% of the XP), but that just seemed too harsh. As it is, you only get 50% of the XP from the enemies you killed, so playing a hard level likely won't get you too much. Plus, you don't get the one-time bonuses for beating the level, which are pretty substantial. We didn't want the game to be too grindy, but we also wanted plenty of content for those who like to grind up to the higher levels. So yeah, it's a little fuzzy here and there, but we let you pick your difficulty throughout, so generally you can customize it to make sense for whatever level of challenge you want.
I loved the game, but i'm sad i wasnt able to find the last key, for the last vault and finish the game. I wont run around just for this for so i gave up :(
one of the best thing in the game is to handle the air units. at different levels you need different strategy against them, you can build anti air, shields, or you can try to repair you buildings or even sell them. this is an amazing aspect of the game, what we have never seen in other TDs. you should be happy with it and enjoy the challenge.
I think that an 'easy mode' would be a great addition for the game to make all the brainless zombie cry babies happy.... If they find any difficulty they start to whine and give the game bad rating... And developers have to adopt. It seems like the idiots define the world. They did this with music, movies etc and it seems like now it is coming for the games....
that's a shame so much people is crying if they find any difficulty in a game. this is the main reason most of the new game has zero challenge.
btw it is hard to die at the first level if you don't forget that you have a secondary weapon too....
if you cant write a much better AI, just make the AI's army stronger (you still at least have to solve the problem the AI doent move away from the monters who has more long move and can take the castle from a distance)
i think that the achivements are kinda boring. some idea: win a level with only one tower at briliant rating. win a hard level with only one tower type at brilliant rating. etc
