Everything takes soooooo lonnnnng. And 2x does very little. I cannot bear to sit through the cutscenes and the battles are just boring. I didn't even finish the first gym guy. Needs 4x, 8x, AND 16x for both cutscenes and battles
I really enjoy this game, however is a glaring problem. It is too often when I don't see/understand what card an AI opponent played to kill off my allies, which is incredibly frustrating (please keep the card played out for a second, at least long enough to mouse over it).
This is not innovative at all. Oh, you change gravity like Shift. Also you hit buttons to unlock areas (never heard of that before). All you did was make the goal a bullseye and replaced death barriers with falling off the map (which is the easier way out). Terrible repetitive music as well which gets quite boring. 2/5 with the 2 for being clean looking.
Soooooo buggy (lag kills and random restarts). And a game with emphasis on response time should have better response itself. Frequently I land on a platform directly in front of a pit and can do nothing to save myself. Also poor art which makes the game seem unfinished. The concept is great, but would have liked to see it applied better.
Against those who say this is like patapon. Patapon is known for its mechanic over the design. This has similar design, but an entirely different mechanic. In case you meant fighter, arrow guy, magic guy, those are older than the internet.
loved the style and gameplay, but it is much too short (even for multiple playthroughs) and the ending is quite anti-dramatic. Had high promise for a 5/5 but got a 3 for being embarassingly short.
I found the left-right inversion segment as too surprising. I would suggest making it more apparent that such control inversion is in effect., but otherwise very interesting
