I love that the game has a voice actor, but he does such... a bad job of it. He sounds utterly bored and unmotivated to say his lines, and bad voice acting can really bring a game down.
I think the drafts need a new formula. So I get 3 copies of Eat the Dead, and my opponent gets 4 transferences? Maybe everyone could be shown all 5 cards and whoever gets the best card is the one whos fastest.
The PVP system needs some serious work. 4 times in a row I was matched up against people hundreds of levels above me with absolutely no chance of winning.
Just a few things about the game. Of course there is the grid size, but another issue for me is the lack of a confirm move option. Many times I thought I had actually clicked on an enemy weak against purple, make a 6 block purple chain, and it turns out it was on the wrong enemy. Also, having to unequip an item just to equip another item of the same type gets pretty tedious and cuts down on some of the game flow. Another thing, if the enemy has two hp left on his shield, and I use a single tile that its not weak against, the damage should carry over to the next shield. These are just some of the things I think will make the game better.
Excellent game, but I think there should be some clearer instructions. I was thinking that every letter had to be adjacent to another, but it turns out they can be anywhere on the board.
why would they have to be adjacent? lol. and yup, they can be combined from anywhere on the board. you can even type the letters in through the keyboard.
I think something that most people haven't said about the game is lack of playing just one tile. For example, if there are 3 purple tiles in a backwards L shape, but I just want to play one so I can line up a better combo of red tiles, but I can't, so I'm stuck playing a mediocre combo, instead of a 6 tile combo.
I love the game but I just can't seem to finish it. I appreciate the nerdook games, but having to go back and re-grind on every level just to get enough upgrades seems much too tedious for one of your games, good sir.
I am just going to go right out there and say the shooting 4 quest is impossible. I have been playing it for 3 days and just now managed to get passed 10, mainly because by the time I even find the target it already moved.
I think the reason I don't want to keep playing is the sheer luck factor. On the first 3 holes, I have yet to get a perfect simply because there are times where I would go through the whole deck just for one card to be able to play.
Some things I noticed about the game. The fact that I can buy a piece of equipment for either 25000 gold or 10 dragon coins makes the value of the dragon coins seem really high, but spending 50 kreds for only 50 coins?! I am not going to spend 10 dollars for a deck in game when it is quite playable making my own deck. Also, the lack of a sort of library system makes comparing the usefulness of cards pretty difficult. I mean, I got Titanic Bulwark in my first pack, yet I haven't used it once, simply because there is absolutely no point in the beginning to be shielded for 5 damage when simply choosing Sentinel first gave me an immediate 3 absorb, which pretty much makes players immune to damage until they get to tougher enemies. Other than these things, the game is great, if only really slow.
