The fact that you have to join a guild in order to get the hard badge is bad enough, but since really no-one accepts members, players are pretty much forced to spend rubies to make a guild and get the hard badge. You have made (bribed) the first hard badge on Kong that people actually have to pay in order to get. 1/5
It's not the fact that another generic facebook game got badges, but to give it a badge that forces players to join a guild is just downright intolerable. If you are going to shove multiplayer games down our throats, at least make it so we can get the badges on our own.
I almost feel like the ball was dropped slightly on this one. I mean, from the first to second game, there was just an explosion of content and new levels and features, and this one feels more like it should have been the second one instead. It lacks the minigames and difficulty of the second one and while there are more characters and bikes, overall there is much less content. There is also no new features being added, except the checkpoints being removed and the fact that landing on your head doesn't kill you.
There is a way to make a game difficult without purposely breaking the aiming mechanism. Also, this game seems incredibly offensive to both sides being represented.
I absolutely wanted to just scream when I saw premium content. Most of the time I find it horribly cheap and scammy, however I feel like you have developed the games enough and they deserve to have premium content. You could probably even release the next one on steam and make a killing and no-one would bat an eye. Keep up the great work Kupo!
So after playing through all of the levels, quite a few things need to be nerfed. The level where you play as the sun king should not use your current cat god upgrades, as it is impossible if you grind it out to fully upgrade everything. Also, the gold scarab quota needs to be tuned down. Again, fully upgrading everything makes it pretty much impossible to get that quota on the top 3 right hand levels. The glitches with the massive amount of gold and unlocking all levels after you beat the first level really need to be fixed also.
I'm still trying to recreate the gold glitch, because I've never seen it happen myself! Probably needs a rare combination of events to trigger, and I have yet to figure it out. =/ Also, I've tried to get Gold Scarabs on all levels with full upgrades, and it's perfectly possible, even on the Sun Emperor level. In fact, a stronger Cat God gives you more time to collect the amount of gold required.
So first impressions, the game seems amazing and much more in depth than the last game. Nice easy to navigate menus, it's nice to see features like data transfers and an enemy codex. However, after I beat the first level I instantly got over 80k in coins, effectively ruining any gameplay after that.
While I have to say, this series is solid, this game NEVER got above a 4.0 rating. Are we just giving games who are on the top weekly games list badges now?
Excellent little time waster! Difficult at points, while not being frustrating. It's nice that you included controls for people on laptops, not many people think to do that. The only thing that would improve this game is more levels. 5/5!
That last boss is downright unfair. Everything about the game is messed up really. The archer's inability to actually fire an arrow, the fact that all of your units die in one hit from any of the bosses, everything is just set up to make you lose. 2/5. Would have been 3/5 but all the grammatical errors were just icing on the cake.
For some reason everything scaled down a level when I loaded my game back up. My catapult, my wall, everything went back down, making the second level incredibly hard.
Everything about this game just limits it. From the boring lack of options to the impossibly difficult later levels, it really has no chance of surviving at all with other shooter titles like it.
Hmmmm, I'll think about it!
