This game is near the pinnacle of perfection for flash games, the slick controls make more realistic physics and require more skill, they don't take away from the game, they add to it. The story is almost captivating, and put together masterfully. The gravel road of difficulty curve made me feel like a god on some levels (especially 30) but want to rip my heart out at others (28 I am looking at you) but I loved it all. When I open a game by John I secretly wish that it comes close to the dark perfection of Exit Path.
Two shady men stand on a busy street, the first man was a miner who had gave the other man, a blacksmith, many diamonds for a pick, which the second man was carrying. The pick glowed with the power of a thousand suns, and looked as though it was perfect. The blacksmith, while walking towards the first, trips on the sidewalk, shattering the pick, he quickly got up and yelled "Sorry, I crafted a dud"
I was surprised at how much potential this game had, but lack of effort and quickly turning a puzzle mechanic into a personal sandbox was kinda depressing. With A LOT more work, a tutorial, shortcuts, more levels, more mechanics and this might be worth something, but the effort currently applied was pathetic. Overall, great start, lots of potential, but lack of effort ruined it.
Thanks for the feedback, this game is in early alpha and the goal is to have 100+ levels. And add alot more things like tutorials, instructions etc. The game will be available on mobile devices too once its done.
Thanks for the positive feedback!
I have beaten all of the colossi in SoTC, which is one of my favorite games because of its ability to puzzle me. This game brought back memories of SoTC, but instead of thinking about every tiny detail logically, I felt myself running on pure instinct, something I rarely get from a game, let alone a flash game. I still got the feeling of fighting a sentinent being, like me, but never thought about until i watched the creature fall, the slow motion captured my sorrow for the beasts even more. This game is purely astonishing 5/5 Bravo, Armor Games!
Most upgrades should be a tenth of what they are now and a few more tiers added, but each upgrade does less, except ones like revives, which you should start out as 100 for the 1 revive per game and keep the others the same
you have forgotten that players see something and try to figure out what is going on, for example, when a bubble containing an item appears over an employee's head i click it, now i cannot complete the tutorial.
It would be nice if you could close your shop for an in-game day, just to make more stuff, customers aren't affected and don't come in at all, but this is limited by only being able to do it once a day or week,
Has always and forever will be my absolute favorite flash game, i had always been accustomed to kill everything, this game was an amzing change of pace i play at least once a year, usually more.
