I just started playing today. I had a lot of fun spending a few hours getting started. I was looking forward to coming back online tonight and found the entire game wiped after only being offline for a few hours. I saw an hour ago the creator just made a post saying, "Don't bother me anymore for game restorations." Changed my rating from 4 to 1 star. There's a serious coding problem to your game, and you need to fix it. Leaving your players beyond is wrong, and it undermines the spirit of gaming. Take care of us, and we'll take care of you.
Here's the longterm issue with the game: Updates are awesome, but you accelerate us too quickly. I can go up 2-3 number values the first day of an update. Spread out the upgrades with higher costs, but make each upgrade significant enough where it keeps us checking in with the game every day to buy that upgrade. There should also be an incentive log-in bonus for playing every day. I leave the creativity of that up to you. But as it stands now, I check out of the game for a few days to a week because that's how long it takes for my angel investors to catch up to my current amount to double and reset. Updates just don't stack with long-term achievements because they're so unreachable. It's not fun to let the game run for 24 hours and only be able to buy one newsstand. I hope this helps.
I have 2.4 QUINtillion angel investors and I'm having a hard time advancing past 830 newspapers. Still a long trek ahead to get the final achievement of 900 everything. Basically save until you double your angel investors every time before resetting. Your amounts are not going to advance much further unless you double. Double the angel investors, double what you see for each business.
A decent, copycat concept to Kingdom Rush. However, the talent tree upgrades are too simplistic and do not compliment the uniqueness of each element which is the game's premise. You have to upgrade towers in-game to see any difference between the four types. As others have commented, you can win the whole game with maxed out Earth and Wind towers. There's no utility to using Fire or Water except for emergency spells. However, what I dislike most about this game is the animation overload that lags the browser. I have lost battle after battle because my spells would not respond in time to a wave reaching the end. My computer plays excellent graphics, and there's no graphics adjustment to this game. Very unhappy player.
I have played a lot of games on Kongregate, particularly Tower Defense ones. However, Kingdom Rush is, by far, the best game I have ever played on here. It has mastered the art of Tower Defense games.
*You* are the voice. The path you choose determines how you express the love for yourself. If you obey, you fulfill the narcissism of your petty needs and personal insecurities. The reward is clarity for seeing life as you want it. The colorlessness is the result of the incestuous conformity between the voice, body, and mind. Disobey, and you go on a colorful path of self-destruction. The voice instead becomes a challenge to fail; to disappoint. You won't see the pits, sharp objects, and towering blocks; however, you will be drawn to the beautiful red crimson of your undoing.
There is a "Your game has expired" bug going on in the Lobby. It is prematurely closing games that I'm hosting within seconds of opening them. Please fix.
