I think it would be a pretty fun game, except for the gold issue as many have mentioned, and it really bogged down for me. Not sure if my computer is just having an off day or what but it was pretty annoyingly slow.
Ignore my last comment. You gain +9 if you skip glaring and beat haunting. Which, if you do glairing its +3 then haunting is +6, it all adds up. So everything is all good!
Yeah I just had the fun times of CTRL and W too. I don't know if you did that on purpose to be a dick or accidentally because you didn't think about it. Either way, it's a fail.
Musical games that you have to perfect with flashing lights, rotating images, etc etc mostly annoy me because all it takes is a split second of lag to mess you up. Also as pointed out by others, the flashing lights and what not give you a headache after awhile. Granted I've been playing this game for over an hour straight so that probably has something to do with it too!
I read a lot of comments about the final boss bugging out and getting a win that way. So after banging my head against the final boss level roughly 20 times I refreshed my browser and won on my first attempt with the boss having only dropped shield once. Everything has been mentioned with what's wrong with this game. I agree on basically all accounts. I think the most frustrating part, other than the impossible final level, was that during the NPC only levels I couldn't click over to another window or do anything else without it auto pausing on me. As pointed out, watching your "bodyguards" run back and forward getting owned isn't fun at all. Great concept of a game ruined by small aspects that should be common sense fixes. Please don't take all of the criticism as a "FU" but more of "The game has enough potential that people want you to excel."
I think there should be a card limit per type of card. As it is, someone has a DESTROY ALL MONSTERS card almost every turn it seems during a duel. Limiting it to 1 per card for that type of card might help fix that.
@Trashantboy: Yeah I resorted to using EMPs as well but its a reoccurring charge vs a one time fee for what I was suggesting. Obviously its not going to be implemented in this game. Was just for future reference.
First off. I hate games like this because I use a laptop and we all know how fun point and shoot games are with those. The autolock feature does help and I wish there was a way to upgrade that even more to help compensate. At least you don't make us pick up the money by hovering the mouse over it. Second. I hate autosave features on games that if you don't play them perfectly from level 1 then you screw yourself over in the later levels and you can't say, "Hey, I was doing pretty well at level 5, I want to save there so I can retry from that point later on if I run into trouble!" Third. No upgrade to see the cloaked/invis enemies. That alone would have saved everyone a ton of frustration. It could have even cost as much as the nuke and been more worth it. Fourth. When the "bad guys" fly in that perfect area between rotations so you can't get a good shot on them from the North, or the East.
