I always hate the guy that posts things like this; but allow me to give a warning to those with sub-par Internet. I am currently pulling 300k/s, and I've been waiting 15 minutes for the second level to load. Just a heads up.
Something I've noticed a lot, when in the arena, if I use a potion up to even as late as a second before the attack hits, it has no effect til the next hit. So if I have 200 hp and I use a +100 potion just before a 201 attack hits, even though my health meter goes up it still kills me. Then, after it says I died, I see the green 100 appear above my character showing that it healed me.
In order to get past the safe door the first time, I hit a cruiser. This shot me almost all the way to the top, I then rocket smashed down and hit a flying bear, which sent me into the clouds. I came down with the puffy super smash thing and hit the wall with it, that sent me through the wall and to the wallet. Excellent game, 5/5.
This game is, without a doubt, one of the best games I have ever played on the internet. It is very easy to learn, a good story line, and excellent game play. I agree that if it was the full game, it would be up in the top five games on Kongregate. Although, I admit, I was a little unsettled by the fact that it was a demo, but it is, plain and simply, an awesome game. Even if it is a demo.
Idk if this is a bug or not, but, on the shut the box game, it lies on the number of points left.
For example, i rolled an 8, i clicked 2, 5, and 1, it said game over, and that i had 1 point left...
This is an excellent game, one of my favorites, actually. But for the next one, I have a couple of recommendations. First, maybe make it so that if you have enough cash, you can buy extra lives in-game. Second, I would enjoy making it possible to, instead of just playing in free play mode, go in Apopalypse mode. For example, level 75, I have 13 MOAB Maulers, 5 Rings of Fire, 6 Lightsabre Throwers and fully upgraded Wizards, and last, but not least, 5 Sun Gods. I wish I could start Apopalypse mode now...
This is an excellent game, but, my only suggestion to make it better would be to set an auto send feature. It gets a little annoying having to click on each colony and manually send it to another colony.
If you're having trouble with the beginning levels, try building all or the first tier, (left to right) so you can got the watchtower, which helped me alot.
If they make a second one, I think a good addition would be to be able to choose which enemies for my allies to prefer. For example, I have a regular pistol, and am trying to get as many head shots as possible. Mice take 1 hit for a head shot, with the pistol, but my allies keep killing them. I want to be able to tell my allies to shoot at all enemies, but to shoot at, say archers, first.
This game is excellent, not quite as good as the last one, in my opinion, but really close. Thank you, rudy, for finally making the ranged units not charge towards the enemy, that was my biggest frustration in the last one. Still 5/5 though.
Okay, the Bloons Tower Defense series is probably my favorite game series. But the one thing I was a little hesitant about was the possibility of paying to get certain features... If I see that a game is going to make me pay for something to play, I don't play it. But, thank you for at least being courteous enough to not make us pay for anything necessary to beat the game, and for being able to level up with just playing the game instead of forcing us to pay for it. Thanks a lot. 5/5 Definitely!
Also, when you get to a point when you have a choke-point, (a place where enemies have to go through, no matter what), make a barricade. Then recruit ten builders, and fifteen snipers.
