Wait....what happened to choosing your origin story? Very disappointing way to start the game. I loved choosing my parents occupations, my training and so on in the other games...
Not as terrible as I thought it would be based on the first two levels. The trailer physics were actually pretty good, but because there were multiple screens for one level, backing up into another area was a nightmare. Not only that, but hit detection is off on some of the levels, like #7 at the end. It is a good idea, but I would have multiple levels with a bunch of vehicles outside of a car park, and you have to figure out how to fit them all in without crashing. Might be more fun/challenging.
The graphics are nice, the sounds and music are solid, and the idea is a good one. Now some problems: The reticule gets lost in the background quite often, it should be a vibrant color, not a muted color like everything else. Fire bombs are annoyingly hard to shoot when you can't clearly see where you are aiming. It takes WAY too long to make money. Also, why does it take 5 head shots to kill one guy? I understand that you want to make it challenging, but why not make it 2 shots to the head with weaker weapons? Why not have more enemies on screen in the earlier levels? Why not make this more like classic Caravan games and allow the player to choose the route and cargo? You can take the longer peaceful route or the shorter dangerous route, and you can get bonus money based on the time taken to arrive. There are a lot of things you could have done with this. As it is it's just another shooting defense game with upgrades, and not really a good one at that. 2.5/5.
Life is what you make of it. Telling us we are going to die and be forgotten is nothing new, almost everyone fears it, but we all know its inevitable. Meaning in life is subjective. There is no such thing as 'soul mates', just varying degrees of compatability. You can win in about 30 seconds if you spin the ball on the serve, scores every time with no reprisal. 1/5
Uninspired art, annoying music, non existent animations. Terrible, unimaginative death scenes. Incredibly short. No end that I could find. 1/5, the 1 is for the fake spreadsheet.
No control, Nintendo era music, ok art. Why do cactus' make me fly faster? Grass makes me go higher? Hit detection is off, the camel appears out of no where, and is that a hand? Whos hand is that? All things that need to be worked on. Oh, and what do levels signify? More throwing strength? More plants? I'm on level 3 and flying for minutes off screen. What are the units of measurement? Inches? Centimeters? I could go on and on. 2/5
