Love this little game! I think it's just the right length, and as for complaints about the speed... I can see where others are coming from, but I feel this is a case of allowing the art and gameplay to fit the story. I personally like the ethereal, dream-like movements. Jumping platformers usually frustrate me, but this one was soothing and nice. The little white clouds that appeared as a guide after collecting each light orb was a nice touch that kept me from ever getting lost. All that, paired with the uplifting message in the end, really helps this stand out amid the inundation of zombie games and idle clickers. :)
*gets to the bit in the journal that mentions waiting to meet my character*
"Well, that's a great big pile of NOPE. Nope nope nope nope nope..."
*keeps playing anyway*
Love the game! It's highly addicting, and the graphics are adorable. At first I was annoyed by the massive (and constant) Neighbor/Hiring Quest. I prefer games I can play on my own, but it would take forever to earn all the bank notes necessary to do that. So I found neighbors and moved on. No big deal. But here's my one big critique: now I have all these neighbors I like to visit and help, but after a certain point, I stop earning anything but a small amount of gold from them. The game requires me to have many neighbors, so I should reap the benefits of visiting ALL their towns and doing tasks there. I'd suggest either removing the limit that prevents a player from earning more than gold after a certain point, or placing a limit on the amount of neighbors a player can have and reducing the in-game necessity for them. I'm not sure how feasible that is, but it would sure make the whole "neighbor" concept a lot less bothersome. Thanks for making such a fun game!
