I feel like this game is worse than a lot of games I play on my phone. Its as leaky and laggy as the first one with a better inventory system. That having been said I loved the first one. I moderately am okay with this one.
This game is all about passing for the first turn of any fight against any boss or tough enemy. I just beat my tenth side quest (unique). My squad is being carried by the Rogue and Fighter I could recruit from being a Hunter Rank 1. My character is basically there to give my team AP and watch. Very dull unbalanced game. (if you pass the damage multiplier advances so fast its hilarious) 7AP = 1k damage. 14 AP = 2.8k or so 20 AP has seen me kill enemies with 4.5k health with many attacks left over. (there is some variance due to blocking/your men missing)
take the mage and the spear guy first then when your HR 1 grab the highest level troops available.
So playing on kong means I get 5 quests for imps a day. These pay out at 50-100 imps a pop, usually averaging 70 lets say. So I earn on average 140-210 imps a day, my pet will eat between 2 to 4 chickens a day to survive at 400-800 imps costs. Thus I'd need to spend real money to keep my 25k pet alive at those prices.
New quests with your pets were added. Now other players receive reward and complete daily missions by feeding your pet. It must help a bit. Also we think about price reduction for chicken.
So far I've been... frustrated by terrible physics, a bad looping song, and poor design play. The idea that some levels are only "kiss" by spending a limited resource that doesn't stay on the level if you exit is a design flaw as well. If I activate "cheats" on a level they should stay till I delete my save.
3-12 is the only mission that has difficulty, unless its nomnom's green levels in the whole random unit issue. 5-11 or 5-21 is the only level I made any real money at. 700k every other level it was a scraping to make even 100k. Game difficulty plateaus at 3-12 then its just one long slog to badge it out. spam turtles once your enemy has its "turtle" unit and your most expensive range unit. once you start pushingb ack supplement with mice and hood to build the unstoppable wave. I really do wonder why the game designer didn't seem to do anything new after 3-12. Only useful items Mana to food mace, thunder mace, and healing mace, (occasionally you can make use of poson mace or fury punch mace) Ring wise go 2x gold or 2x items, or 1 of each.
"strategy" on these levels. get shot and hope that a helicopter or something shows up to bounce you across a 3 missile pit. This is a good reason why companies should never make a sequel.
Well with a light bulb, a power generator, a puller and a kettle as my items in level 4 I can't win. Howver with one more item just to block the puller so the power stays on I could do it....
Honestly the game plays really slowly and resolves stupidly. Every battle ist he same. I barrier 2, I regen 2, and then I alternate sword, heal, sword... for hundreds of battles. exciting...
