If you want to make this game awesome, you need to do a few things,
** agree with Saandji that you need an alternative way of controlling. I suggest a keyboard variation that uses W,A,S,D or Directional Pad and Space bar to fire and B or N to use the bombs.
**Another thing that could be a great increase in difficulty and possible point gain would be to enlarge the map horizontally to fit more obstacles and enemies and just to let you know, i have played this game on laptop and PC and your game does not fit the screen without zooming out to about 90% which i am fine with doing, im just letting you know .
**The last one i want to mention would be an upgrade or purchase menu that could incorporate in game currency (DO NOT MAKE THIS A FREEMIUM GAME) to let you buy upgrades to your plane/purchase bombs and drones, things like that.
All in all, Good job DEV, have not played a top down shooter in a while. Thanks for bringing back memories
Hi! Thanks for taking the time to write me some feedback!
There is an entire control layout for keyboard created but due to a bug in the HTML 5 runtime of the tool I am using I cannot put it in yet. Basically I am waiting for my editor tool to get patched with a fix before I can put that in without worrying about a nasty focus bug...
Obstacles is actually something that I want to try to add sometime, like sections with debris of huge ships or terrains of giant asteroids and stuff .
I have thought about some kind of upgrade/customizer too but I am still not sure what the best way of implementation would be. If I go down that road I might consider having two different modes(or separate game editions even) one being Arcade mode and the other a RPG mode(story, levelling, upgrades, buy/sell components and weapons, etc.) as it could turn into two very different games.
I have no plans to make this game freemium btw :)
How dare you take a once simply awesome game series and turn it into your "agenda" against "Freemium" games. This completely blew it for me. i do not personally pay to play, but i know people that do, and they are just as happy with their gaming life as i am. on top of that, you made the game last about 5 min, i suggest some serious updates that extend the life of this game and some value tweaking on enemies and your ship/upgrades to make it more challenging, and maybe make the upgrade process more interactive... you just got so much wrong... hope they delete this one and call it something more realistic like "easy upgrade complete for 5 year olds"
its an idle along with a million other idle games out there..... and it slow paced regardless of having people team up to help out. Using chat is clunky at best and no one does because Kong already has a chat outside game window. The wait time for energy on wood cutting and mining is way to long. There is a wait time for hitting enemies!! who thought that was a good idea. Skill cooldown is good. Needs more interaction, and better system for pets, i should not it to level it up, maybe it should have its own EXP bar that leeches from mine?? Needless to say hopefully the DEVS responsible for this game are working on updates to fix these issues along with adding missions you can go on in smaller increments then 2- 20 hours... We need to have this down to 5 min minimum and maybe 24 hours max to keep it relevant.... so much to change that would make this game great but i know ynot see what everyone else is getting out of thiou can do it!!!! keep up the good work DEVS!!!
Could there be a possibility of an auto-retry box we can check to continue to battle without having to click retry every time?
I love how this game was made, I even think you could probably make a neat little RPG out of this as a mini game on the side because you already have the battle system worked out. Awesome game!!! 5/5
Yep, I feel like i have clicked everywhere now.... and I still need 3 more lost children..... Oh the humanity, wont anyone please think of the children!!!
I really like games like this, I tend to play a lot of strategy turned based. This is a simple bare boned game. I enjoy the skill tree and believe it is fair. I would like to see some improvements on this game that would possibly make it a great game.
1. Add Auto-Battle Calculator and Skip Animation to speed up battles
2. Add new ways to gain capitol (money) as far as a maybe a barter system. Also i noticed it costs me money to make a treaty with the AI but it doesn't cost them anything, i believe a parley should be put in place here similar to trading properties in Monopoly, an agreed amount that you think is fair for a treaty.
3. Do not get rid of the mass critical, i believe that could be a game changer for you or your enemy. It keeps you on your toes.
4. the pirate attacks should be viewed as battles that you have the chance to win or lose.
If i can think of more i would put them but these are the best ones to come to mind at the moment.
Keep up the good work!!
for some reason this game does not work as well on my laptop, it only shoots some of the time with the touch pad, but if i use the touch screen it shoots everytime like it should, please fix this.
... so i beat it, and then continued on, and once i hit a certain point ( pop 2.0 billion) it said i had -2 billion and promptly ended the game on the next turn.... i had ran the game all the way to 500 bc... i wanted to know if it would roll over once i got to a.d. or if there was some special something, to bad this happened it would be nice to know
i wish there was a way to speed up the game and also i wish that i could set it to not pop up pass or fail after a quest or errand that way i dont have to worry about walking away and the game pausing on me and losing that time of progression
only thing i was looking forward to that i didnt get out of this game is a skill points system for general stats, that would have been nice, also a limited inventory to hold some extra drop items so you dont have to drop a weapon or armor upgrade item just because you know your gunna need that potion
really cool side scrolling bullet hell, i like the multiple upgrades, but didnt find that all the upgrades were worth the grind i did...maybe a points system would be cool tally up your points at the end of a run and use them to unlock instead of just unlocking as you go
it would be cool to have a merc setting where you could hire different helpers like a second long range, and different settings for whom AI attacks (first enemy out, closest, mele, ranged,or boss) so they can be more helpful other than that this is a really solid game i got lost in for an hour trying to conquer, thanks alot!!
played this game till my fingers were sore, i think in story mode some of the bosses were maybe in the wrong order of progression like the alien seemed to always hit me but the rock monster never did. great game but i think you should always have to start on lvl1 or maybe be able to choose which boss you start from so you can have the experiance of blowing the smitherines out of older bosses
i liked the idea of a runner that upgrades for you as you go rather than having to grind and grind for cash to buy good ones.... although i do wish the glide regenerated faster or you started off with a full glide powerbar
...i thought i was gunna re-live an old game called buggerman for the sega console... i was sorely mistaken 1/5 just for actually being a game with a concept though
this was cool, pretty easy to beat. this game brought back alot of old memories though havent seen a dragonball anything in a long long time. i really liked the whole in a nutshell way you went about the story too all in all 5/5
