Figured out the problem with the keys to Rakear's tower in Nature zone. I hadn't actually defeated Rakear yet, but had his key given to me by the kid in the tent. Seems a bit more should be put into making that tower not lock people out, cos in the end I think I wound up with 4 of Rakears keys, but needed the third from Rakear himself before one actually unlocked the tower.
I'm hung up somewhere. Not sure if it's a bug or not, but got Rakear's key but can't get into the tower in Mirina. Nature portal in north part of town closed. Can't get back to docks.
Hey Addlestone, thanks for asking. The brain power upgrades are not permanent. We chose to do it this way in order to give the players the flexibility to play around with the upgrade mixes and improve their playstyle from one reset to the other. As a couple of other people had the same question with you, we will look into adding a clarifying info into the game about it - in a future update.
In addition to the 'memory' feature, a "lock" feature for a number you know is correct and don't want to accidentally move later and potentially for an easy/hard difficulty level, having something that highlights the numbers at the sides when the column total is reached. Beyond that, I just want more levels! Nicely done.
Clicking off tutorial (specifically clicking the chat button when it's trying to make me start a battle) can get you into a frozen place where you can't bring back the battle screen or advance.
Setting an auto-harvest should automatically add at least one unit of biomass to the requirement. Several times I caught myself trying to eliminate biomass on a planet whose habitability went negative, only to find that several minutes later I was still blowing resources sending a ship to harvest nothing.
I really like the series, however I'm always a bit irked by sequence puzzles where you can click the same thing 50 time, but only after another random event does it do anything (IE, finding the tapes).
I think making the points granted a bit lower to make it harder to work for the unlockables would be nice. Also, if anything, different piece shapes makes it more difficult, but adds no bonus points.
Nicely done. I agree that the floating area is a benefit, as well as pieces that lock (and seems that disappear). The only thing that seems a bit weird is that you don't actually need to drop/click your pieces into place, and can hover over a piece and make it still connect (if that description makes sense)... But overall, a nice puzzle game with a cute starting picture.
Ideas for future - more pictures, and different difficulty levels, possibly including pieces that rotate (click once to rotate 90 degrees, etc).
Failing 8 doesn't make you repeat, sounds are more jarring than accurate, many of the clues in mission 9 are not necessary, some of the spelling/grammar could use work, and a bit more animation post-shot would be nice (esp in killing the two scientists).... But shots seem accurate and otherwise a nice addition to the 'genre'...
A decent amount of luck required in the beginning to get a few worthwhile weapons. Not too difficult, but had to try a few times cos of having nothing but supplies in the first couple "towns"
I've added more levels in Light The Way 2, go give it a try!
