A warning that there are endless levels would be appreciated. The completionist in me kept chugging along for quite some time until I checked the comment section. :)
I checked the walkthrough for level 16, and supposedly Bob is supposed to leave the fridge on his own. Like mattj, my little dude chose to stay a while.
For the first time, I managed to finish a Submachine on my own without need of a walkthrough. Don't know if that says more about me or more about the game, but 5/5 anyways. :)
I think I have an idea of how the last boss gets taken down. The trees seemed to pop up more when I was shooting at the floating black clouds, and at that, only at the one that had been most recently birthed. Not sure if that helps, but it's what I saw.
The Bonus Mission is not found by clicking continue out of the trophy room, it's true. You have to click the cards. But once the Bonus Mission is done, the *badge* for finishing it requires you to click continue out of the trophy room. (Also, Mission 7's card requires talking your way past the guards, and it is as the base of the podium on the left (took me forever to find it)).
The difficulty of this game helps provide a real sense of achievement when you get it done. It has a nice learning curve, so that the opening rounds provide just enough difficulty to get you interested, and the final level makes you feel like "WOO!" when you finally get those darn Broadway signs in order. Excellent game, more power to you folks.
I did have to consult a walkthrough once or twice, but I did note with some satisfaction that my final score was over 100 better than the walkthrough I saw on YouTube. Woot!
