For some reason I found the first game too tough and didn't play it more than twice. But this one's pretty nice, even if I don't like shooters in general. A bit strange you don't get the gun back when one of your pals dies, and they can't use all weapons. Good game nevertheless.

Wow, lots of sore losers commenting. I'm not saying it's a great game, but it isn't terrible either. No pause, I agree that's annoying. Archers too, they should take out an enemy instead of just crossing a letter (and making your job harder). I got killed by the level 4(?) boss, the one with the sliding select thing, wtf to press lol. Hard to combo in easy mode since I type so fast, the combo counter resets before the next enemy has fully emerged (grr). Fix that, make combo counter a tad longer and also break on type to balance it.

I found out how to reproduce the bug: kill all enemies. In the next turn when new enemies spawn, you will be controlling one of them. You HAVE to shoot at something, so either shoot another enemy, or shoot the enemy you control. If you KILL the enemy you control, the game will be stuck and require a restart. Otherwise combat will proceed normally.

Hmm, I edited the regular (only) soldier type and gave it a smoke grenade and bayonet (improved knifing range). All the enemy sees is smoke and then they get stabbed, hehe.
Oh, and around mission 6(?) where your squad of 5 storms a small warehouse, the mission doesn't end when you kill them all, because apparently enemies keep spawning. I won because I kept knifing a dead body near me out of frustration (lol) and somehow eventually that counted as a kill (when I won, there was still actually live enemies who recently spawned).
@lautan: You're the dev? I'm not disliking the game (I'm a big fan of turn-based strategy games), but there are some bugs you need to fix. I think they're mostly related to when you spawn new enemies on the map, because somehow I (the player) get control of them when it comes to my turn when the new enemies arrive.
@Azgodeth: I wasn't shooting myself, the game had an enemy selected so I made him shoot himself. I can't shoot my own people even when in this bugged "move the enemy" mode.
Got another bug. One enemy was left onscreen, and he was in the prone position. Apparently he tried using a supply grenade on himself, because I see him standing up and a blue "+Sup" appear above him. However, he immediately falls prone again, and repeats standing up and the blue "+Sup" sign... falls prone, stands up, repeatedly, endlessly (it's been 10 minutes, I've been looking at the forums if there are any Modern Tactics 3 threads).
Actually, I noticed I can get them to shoot, and then it's my turn again. BUT if I tell them to shoot themselves, and they die, the game gets stuck at the "wait/undo/next" menu forever until I restart or quit.
WTF seems bugged. I'm on the very first map of the campaign. I kill the 3 enemy soldiers, I'm about to reach the destination square. When more enemy soldiers respawn, for some reason I get to give them orders, but it's just the "F/X/C (wait/undo/next)" short menu. No option works and I'm stuck waiting to give the enemy a move. WTF.
I forgot how fuel is replenished in this series, anyway I got the card and that's all I really care about. Nice games but not really my cup of tea. Gets repetitive real fast, and there's really no way of scoring early (you need to up the enemy frequency to get more air time), and once you've got high/max skills it's more of a matter of luck getting long combos and not running out of fuel.
Great TD overall, although how exactly the stats get modified when combining is not covered even in the linked guide.

Was ok, except that the game only asked me for an upgrade after level 1... subsequent levels just went through with no more chances of upgrading? wtf? Didn't dislike the game, but didn't like it that much either.

909 frames on my first try. Not bad, but coming after that music game, I'm tired of obstacle jumping. Finished the challenge, done.
Played without the music on. Just jumped like crazy. The last boss is screwed up, I started with 7 lives, I only touched him like 2 times plus I hit a bullet 2 times as well but I ended with 1 life left. Thankfully I got the badge, don't have to deal with this crap again.

Simple premise, nice execution.

Aside from a couple of timing steps, there's nothing else to this than just tapping spacebar. Not as bad as a slideshow, but hardly much more interesting.

Hmm, 5 levels, that's it? There was a noticeable difficulty jump around 2,3 or maybe I was just getting used to it. Dying to bosses and losing gold just sucks though, I'd rather it use the same penalty as when losing to regular enemies. In either case the gold penalty should be reset though, it'd suck if you're already on a long string of fights and having huge gold penalties and then you keep losing, making you unable to collect enough gold to buy anything that might help.
@Slumberer: any name, as long as it's in allcaps and followed by a coma, will generate armor and extra stats. When you find one you like simply rename the char and remove the trailing coma before clicking accept.

Bah, is it bugged? I've cleared 6 castles yet the lock says I still need to clear 1 more... there ISN'T any more.
