Very neat little game! When I first started it up and I just exploded I thought to myself "oh wow, I must really be doing something wrong here". Glad to know that it wasn't me, it was the fact that our friend Johnny Upgrade can't even walk unless you're willing to spend some money. Great job overall. =D
This is a really great game. You've taken the Tower Defense genre, and molded it into something of your own. The story is nice, and you've managed to add enough flavor to it without having the story take over the game. The levels have replay value, and the overall difficulty is challenging enough to make the player think, yet it doesn't ever go overboard and frustrate the player. My only suggestion is that you might want to go back and correct some grammatical issues. It's not a big deal though, and it's not like it even has an affect on the gameplay. It's just a friendly suggestion that would make your game look a bit more polished and professional. And hey, nobody's perfect. I hope you continue to do well with this game, and go on to make more great games like this!
This is a great game. It's rather creepy, but in a good way. It doesn't try too hard to be what it is. My only complaint is that it's a little too cryptic at times. I can fully appreciate that you're trying to create a sense of mystery, however I'm not even sure why or how my character ended up here. Nor am I sure what I'm technically doing, and why it even matters. But I digress, this truly is a flash game that I could call "artwork".
All in all, this is a great game. You don't even have to play that much to realize that tho'. The sayings are a nice blend of serious and comedic, and the art style is quite well-done too. Although this game may be lacking in the music selection department, the music it does have boasts a very tranquil, easy-to-listen-to feel and really doesn't get old. I, along with many others obviously, have realized that the sword you have in the beginning of the game apparently will not sell. Whether or not this was intended I do not know, but it is rather discouraging knowing that I will never be able to sell my full stock due to this. The other thing I have noticed is that once in a while the enemies spawn with partial health. It has never been anything serious, the largest HP depletion I've seen is 5, however I figured it'd be worth noting. All in all, excellent job!
