... how would this game being on here 'ruin' Kongregate anyhow? It isn't... 'invading' or anything... it isn't like people from there are gonna start coming on here and making a ruckus...
And for cripes sake, stop rating it 1/5 because 'it doesn't belong on here'. ><
It's a multiplayer game which is online, no? And Kongregate is for online games, of which one category is 'multiplayer'?
Keeping it on Kongregate won't really change the large sum of people on the game but neither will removing it. So it really doesn't matter... honestly, I'm surprised it has taken this long to go up here.
*sigh*
I can't believe just how many people hate RuneScape and think it is terrible. Newsflash: IT ISN'T. It's not exactly the best game out there, but it certainly isn't the worst.
The PEOPLE whom are usually on RuneScape is the main problem. As for the game itself, the engine is actually quite a feat of programming considering the latest HD upgrade. The skills, despite needing to pay in order to make use of most of 'em, offer a many different ways to play the game. A summary made short (partially because I'm busy right now), the game is actually above-average in its class.
Not bad at all. I never would have thought a sequel would come out, and judging by the way this one ended a second sequel probably isn't too far off, hmm?
Anywho, it was better than the last one (if only a little) but it's still kind of repetitive. Fellow 'Survivors' are a lot more useful this time around, though, at least for me. Overall a 4/5 from my opinion.
It's definitely an improvement from SCGMD2, that's for sure. There were several problems with 2 that unfortunately only allowed me to play it on my high-end laptop. One bug was that it would occasionally not register my keystroke, especially when hitting 'A', for some reason... But enough reminiscing about 2. This is number 3.
I simply LOVE the new animation for the stick-man. It's a lot smoother and he now actually strums to the music - which is awesome.
The Guitars are better, too, though I haven't unlocked them all yet. The same can be said for the songs, though I am going to miss rocking to my favorite Nintendo theme songs... Anywho, 4.7 out of 10 for me, which is basically 5 stars on Kongregate's system.
Hmm...
Well, I must say I enjoyed the previous ones a bit better. This feels like a jump in the right direction, but too much so.
To begin with, the graphics are a welcome improvement, as well as the new zombie types and the ability to build a base.
The Vampires, though, seem a bit overpowered. I was at full health at one point, a regular zombie hit me along side two vampires and I was dead.
The same goes with the Devils - half the challenge lies to those beasts, and after that is more or less a ballpark if you have the minigun ammo still.
Overall it felt a lot... shorter. And more button-mashing zombie-killing than the last titles.
Indeed, as many other 'reviewers' have stated, the next step on the Boxhead line should be a multiplayer version of this.
4/5, simply because I'm basing my negatives on the previous games. As a stand-alone, it's a great game.
Now pardon me; it seems my barricaded barrier is about to be broken... woah, try saying that ten times fast...
I always wondered why them stick figures always attacked my castle...
Anyways, to the review. A fun and very addicting game. The many different types of villagers brings about some variety and the somewhat simple controls make it easy to play.
If I had a gripe, it would probably be the 3-D. Trying to hit villagers with rocks and houses gets tough if they get out of alignment, as it's hard to pinpoint the depth field.
Other than that, a great game. 4.5/5. Now if you'll excuse me, my mining camp needs 'volunteers'...
An interesting game and concept. While it isn't new, I'm sure... combining it with Portals... do I head Portal 2, anyone?
Anyways, I enjoyed the Portal references up until the end. It was sort of redundant, then. It also didn't emulate the Portal feel very well (which I assume was the intention). It was almost too short, but did one good thing in copying Portal in that aspect .
All in all a 3.5/5. A bit harsh, but the game really doesn't have a lasting appeal to me... The concept is the only thing, really, and as I said it has been done before.
This game, as previously mentioned, is quite addicting. The only gripe I have is that, despite being a stick-figure game, it could use a little improvement in the graphics department.
Other than that, 4/5.
Dance little man! Dance!
It took me a try or two for me to realize I had to flap the turkey's wings. Whoops.
Its fun, easy, and delicious! The only thing that was a little off was how he fell. It seemed... unnatural.
4 out of 5 Stars.
I can't honestly say that I accept this as a flash version of Portal... it seems more like a spin-off. Anyways, other than the occasional bug it was a fun experience.
I'll give it a hesitant 4 stars, because it tends to get boring after a while.
I don't think I'll ever reach that restaurant , but overall a very solid game. The only thing I can gripe about is that on occasion the hoops get in your way while re-entering the ocean and you end up belly-flopping because your timing is off.
A very nice 4.5 stars.
Heheh, I can barely get half way down the mountain. I just love the music and it just gets stuck in my head all the time... probably why I keep coming back for more.
This is a good game to play when you are bored and with a friend. The jumping is a tad short in my opinion but thats just me.
Overall a 3.5/5.
This game is always fun. The soundtrack is nice and fits the theme. Indeed, this game does deserve a sequel or perhaps a free play mode.
Its too simple for a 5, so it gets a 4 in my opinion.
Was that Pumbaa I saw back there?
I enjoy this game a lot when I'm in the mood. Though, one thing I noticed is the perfection needed in order to time 'a', 's', and 'd' right. You need to do it the exact millisecond or it doesn't work, which is odd considering most games (Including Guitar Hero) give you at least a tiny amount of breathing space either way.
