I would really appreciate if there was something I could do with all these extra effect books. Maybe something along the lines of somehow combining so many of the same book to get one of a higher level or just sacrificing so many of them to get a random one or combining temporary ones to make permanent books. Something... it just seems like a waste to delete them to make room in the inventory. Its not worth the fuel to trade most of them and its an unfortunate happening when one saves up the F.U.E.L required to open a Supply Box only to get another, potentially useless, effect book.
I would like to see something similar for Supply Boxes. Perhaps it would be possible to recycle so many boxes and get a bit of F.U.E.L? Or maybe keys?
Good game by the way...
I was about to write this game off as another "Defend, Upgrade, Repair Mcguffin" game. And if it wasn't for the ending, I would have. Not much of a divergence from the "formula", but this games few little tweaks make all the difference.
Gee Pershing... your a little overpowered. This game is hilarious and awesome. Me in my god tank, my men eating all the bullets. I really enjoyed being overpowered. I would ask for more... but this game is perfectly acceptable as is. Maybe more levels. Or perhaps an infinite mode...
Huh... I have been playing a lot of good 2D shooters lately.
Anyway, excellent job. I can agree to some of the comments above/below (re-playability and such), but one of the things that makes this game fun is the fact that it is short. Short and sweet. No grinding to get the "good" weapons. You can just as easily blast through a level and (probably) survive, but a bit of exploration is rewarded kindly. However... The jumping... At best its float, at worst doesn't function at all. I died many times because I couldn't adequately jump out of the corner I was stuck in or jump over insta-kill obstacles (mixed feelings on those... Fun when used to mow down enemies, annoying when I keep dying due to questionable jumping).
The only reason that I didn't give this game a PERFECT SCORE... is because its annoying when enemies spawn right behind you, then proceed to show you the meaning of vengeance.
HOWEVER! Besides that one thing, I really liked this game. It's one of the few of it's kind where I actually enjoyed playing the Sniper Class. This game is more fun than most "real" shoots that I can think of.
I really... REALLY wish I had a ship like this in Terraria.
Very well done. Controls were strong, upgrades were useful, and an enjoyable difficulty curve. I hope there is a squeal in the works.
Fun game. Really wish I could of seen the end, but if it means further Atropos induced humiliation and self loathing then I don't think its worth it... Might as well go for the Necronomiconguerer Badge, at least there is a CHANCE that I can beat that without having to sacrifice my sanity.
The new arena makes me want to strike a Nun. Are turns supposed to be skipped at random every once and awhile now? My Sundering Ogre got stuck on its second turn... FOR TWO TURNS. Is anyone else having this problem?
Please take the "items" out of the daily chance. Its just a cheap way to screw us players out of yet more free War Bonds. Or at least lessen the number of "items".
Please either fix the arena or change it back to the way it was... this new version sucks. It is glitchy and broken. Sometimes it seems to say, "I know you wanted to play your Predator, but I think you will play Tremor Wyrm instead". "I want a skull"-"Well I can do a Kermit the Frog"-"But I want a skull"-"Well, I am gonna do a nice Kermit the Frog".
Other than my qualms stated above, I have enjoyed Tyrant since it came out.
