Correcting my earlier comment, after passing around ~200 kills I got the badge and the contest entry - a few days after day 10

Nothing better for a Multi-hundred dollar giveaway contest, then to choose a game that prevents players from entering the contest! Counted over 150 kills, still no contest entry.
