Akira_Yasaki

Akira Yasaki is a young girl from a small town in Japan. That town was chosen long ago to hold a powerful element… the Rei Stone. Legend has it the element will choose someone to give its power to, but when this happens it is said the darkness will awaken. Hundreds of years after the town was chosen, a girl named Akira was born. Akira and her family were the stone’s protectors, she was born to make sure the element was never taken from the town. When she was twelve years old, Akira finished her training to be a guardian of the element. She was shown it much later, thinking it looked like a black diamond with a strange purple glow inside. A few months after becoming a guardian, a jealous town made an army and invaded, wanting to take the stone for themselves. According to most people they succeded in their endevor. But Akira was ordered to take the stone from the town and protect it. She did as she was told and ran as for as she could, fearing someone had seen her run from the town. When she was far enough away, she made camp for the night, exhausted from running such a long distance in so little time. Akira soon found herself gazing at her towns treasure, amazed at it’s beauty. Her eyelids began to fall as she heard a voice tell her to touch the very thing she’s protecting. Knowing that was terrible crime in her culture, she resists. Fearing her exhaustion is making her crazy she lies down, trying to sleep once more. Yet the voice repeats the same thing, " Touch it Akira… You know you want to. Aren’t you curious as to what it might do?" She sets up in bed quickly, her eyes on the Rei Stone. After hours of the voice repeating those same words, the temptation over took her and she laid her hand on top of the stone. Instantly she was engulfed in a strange sensation as the stone exploded in a flash of purple light. When it faded a boy about her age stood before her dressed in jeans, a white dress shirt, and a black tie. He had purple eyes and black hair. The boy also had black cat ears and a long thin tail. He was holding a katana that looked exactly like Akira’s but had oppisite colors. He identified himself as Keigo, the boy trapped in the Rei Stone. He told her, “You have done well my warrior.”
~ Akira’s Weapons ~
Sword: Akira’s sword is a black bladed unbreakable katana. Its hilt is purple and it’s tsuba is a black cresent moon. She is highly skilled with her katana. Her combat style is swift and graceful, like a gymnist.
Hand to Hand Combat: Akira is proficient in hand to hand combat such as karate and other forms of martial arts. She was taught by a master in the shrine of her old home.
Magic: Most of her magic is bottled up inside her but when her emotions explode the magic does also. She gets consumed by it, overtaken by the enormous power inside her. Her power can be seen as purple flame-like energy. Akira can also transform into a silky black cat.

~ Personality ~
Akira mostly keeps to herself and learned long ago not to trust people she doesn’t know. Her short temper clouds her judgement when in battle, one of her only weaknesses. When fighting she almost never shows fear and she won’t give up, even if she’s dieing a painful death, She may not look like it but Akira is a very caring person. If someone needs help, she nearly always offers her assistance. She is also very smart and a great strategist.
_{Looks and Outfits}
Akira has long black pigtails that almost reach the ground. She has short bangs above her eyes in the middle and long bangs on the sides that frame her face. Akira wears a purple and black stripped sleeve-less dress that rests in the mid-thigh. She wears purple and black arms warmers on her arms and purple and blacke tights on her legs along with black boots on her feet. Akira has black cat ears and a thin black tail, just like Keigo.
