You should become able to turn some updates on/off. Some achievements become pretty hard with some upgrades bought. (Mostly the car update and start with allies)
Come on, the mission "Run 500 meters with single leaders" is just a punishment for idiots like me who bought every single upgrade. It's barely impossible to have all your allies dead and stay alone when u already start with 3 companions and they have so much protection.
