Good potential, nice graphics and music, but gameplay balance is simply atrocious!
Support units are a waste of money, random starting waves may mess you up really badly (how am I expected to beat a heavy tank on my first wave?!), but once you set up 2-3 turrets any level looses all challenge and becomes simply a waiting game.
I do want to see more of Commando Defense, as even a simple re-balance patch would really improve this game. But to really make this an A+ game you need to rethink some of the core mechanics!
There's good potential here, but first thing you should probably address is the long periods of inactivity on the player's part. If you don't have enough money, or the desired upgrade doesn't come up, or no healing item -- there's absolutely nothing to do but just sit there like a lemon.
For example, there could be something like a default action during combat in case the item slot is empty, like a block trigger that works 25% of the time. Even better if you have several skills and can customize them before each run.
Ingame badges are nice and all, but maybe you could add unlockable challenges to the next version Flood Runner?
Very fun game, though it still can be improved further.
Oh, it's Fez done in Flash! That's what Polytron gets for taking so long to develop the game and snubbing the PC gamers.
Hah, I'm kidding of course, it's not like Fez has the exclusive rights for perspective changing gameplay (and it won't be the first game to do that, anyway). Good job, Neutronized!
For a hardest "Speed Play" mode "Run Like Heck" is surprisingly easy -- you get so many shotgun shells and so little traps (mostly in a 1\2 mine patterns) that "What's With The Bunnies?" actually proved to be a bigger challenge for me. But it's still incredibly fun to just run through that level at the highest speed you can muster!
Hey, there's still room for improvement! Add some backgrounds, some shape and\or colour variety to the hedges themselves and you have an A++ title on your hands.
Great multiplayer game. I don't know how far you're pushing the Unity engine, but if you're already up to a wall you could maybe try something with more cartoon-y, simpler graphics to free some space for other resources. Though what you already have here is already pretty impressive for a browser-only game.
The visual style and the ambient audio along with the incredible sense of speed create an absolutely unique and addictive experience! Feels like I'll be returning to this game a lot. Thank you very much for creating something so interesting.
This is as good as a flash RTS could get, 5\5. Very fun, although rather easy if you know what you're doing.
I would definitely like to see CW2.
P.S.: Egyptians are so ... MOE~~! *lessthanthree*
