It's nice, but no major breakthrough. The speed option is really only an added timer, and the multiplayer is somewhat simplistic. Decent, but nothing new.
Nice, though really short. The challenges were just as easy as the main campaign, and the AI was pretty lacking.
The game concept is great though, and with a more varied and interesting (and much longer) campaing Mytheria 2 will be great.
Oh yeah, I enjoyed the flavor of the game, though it was hard to decipher from the few mission texts and flavor texts on the cards.
Very artistic and nice graphics, and a enjoyable soothing background music.
The gameplay is okay, yet repetetive.
All in all a nice experience, while a so-so game.
Ok, changed my mind. 5 riders that enter in about 10 seconds is insane. And then enter a few footman (it takes forever to kill the riders) and you've got no change whatsoever. And since all regions I could access are hard ones, I'm stuck. Extremely dumb. There should NEVER (!) be more than two enemies at one time onscreen. Otherwise they'll slaughter you, and this is simply stupid. I've seen no way to beat three enemies.
Great game. Much better than Achilles (consistent damge, progression ability). The Horseman are annoying, a ranged weapon would be great.
Overall very fun.
Very repetitve. Nothing too new all in all.
Oh, and doing missions to unlock ... hints? It's like playing to get a tutorial. That's strange and not helpful.
The game is fun, though the combat system needs work. The damage is wildly inconsistens. Sometimes you can poke at the enemy and he dies, and sometimes you need to perform 3 running attacks (which look stronger) to kill him. For no obvious reason.
It's fun to mutilate countless enemies though.
